Bullies ain't got nothing on Community & Freedom
Bullies. What's that got to do with anything?
For me - everything.
You see, part of me knows I have great ideas and either the skills to pull them off or the gumption to find out how. But there are two bullies I always encounter in every playground of my life: Procrastination and Distraction. The reason they're so dangerous? Because they're gateways through which my teen and adulthood nemesis always rears her ugly head: Miss Inaction.
Also known by the monikers of "Laziness", "Frozen in fear" and "Self sabotage", it's been a life-long journey to get rid of these guys. Every now and then they manage to sneak their way back in, but with age comes perspective and I'm a lot better at slamming the door in their faces now :)
That's why I love it here. It'd be so easy to devolve into profit-driven individuals trying to outdo the others. There are thousands of us from different backgrounds and countries, with varying degrees of experience/knowledge and strengths/weaknesses. Yet, we all come together and support one another, to be the light by which those of us in darkness are able to see another way. We're a community, united in the journey for the same, prize catch: The freedom internet marketing delivers when we prove ourselves worthy.
I read your stories and get inspired. I see complete strangers bonding over mutual interests and struggles. I see little successes turn into big ones and smile. It's a testament to the creators of WA - Kyle and Carson lead by example and we're all better for it. It's not a magic pill, you do the work and get out what you put in. But it's certainly an exciting, supportive way to start a new endeavour alright.
Here's to you WA family! I can't wait to see and hear more of your successes as well as sharing my own.
Big luvs and hugs everyone,
Lis x

So happy that you are content and inspired by WA. It is an incredible community I am proud to be a part of.
Can totally relate to this Stacy. Usually there is always something that you can do or which seems more important when you come across a task that you don't really know how to or want to do. I'm procrastinating right now into getting my content up. Why cause I'm a perfectionist and don't won't it to be wrong. But better to have some content up than none at all, and fine tune it later.
Hard :) In the past I've found it easier to help someone else with THEIR battle rather than fight my own, I think it was coz I felt there was less risk or onus on myself. But in constantly doing that, I lost sight of what I wanted. I'm lucky to have some amazing guides and friends who have helped me and you're absolutely right - something is better than nothing and things can always be fine tuned :)
Did you just call me Stacy? lol
Yup - I'm gonna like my own post lol. I was a little nervous, hovering over the publish button. Almost didn't but since I did I figured I deserved the like haha. Night everyone! Lis x
Aw, thank you Muhammad. We can be each other's witnesses - we both vow to kick laziness where it hurts :)
