Sharing some christmas photos with you
Hello everybody
I would like to share some Christmas photos with you.
This year was very quiet, Michael, me, and the small life-tree.
The livingroom
We gave each other some practical presents. I got a nice winter coat and Michael wished a table saw. That did not fit under the tree. We cut off the picture from the box and I wrapped some Christmas paper around it. He plans to make some artful items in the garage.
My light winter coat
My grandparents and my parents always used real candles for the tree. There is a company in Holland that makes them. I have continued with this tradition. Around the corner is a bucket with water, just in case. It is of course important to have a life-tree as otherwise the risk is bigger. Never leave the tree alone when the candles are burning. In all these years of family tradition, there never was an accident.
Lighting the Christmas tree candles
By the way, that tree decoration with the color picture hanging bottom left is as old as I am. My Mother bought it for the first Christmas in Australia where I was born in 1950. Every year it is hanging in the tree.
Greetings from the south of Spain,
Taetske

Funny thing I bought my other half a workbench saw this christmas. He has become very DIYy since lockdown and his shed is becoming a real man's equivalent of a "Craft/Hobby room"
Your living room looks so beautiful. Thank you for sharing :)
