Need your help guys. I try to transfer domain from sitedomains.com to WA and get this error: 'Canceled - Domain is locked at current registrar, or is not yet 60 days old'. Inde

My issue already fixed. Thanks all for your help

ICANN rules prohibit the transfer of a domain registration to a new registrar within 60 days of the initial purchse or any previous transfer. Registrars cannot allow such transfers to go through.

From NameCheap:
"You must wait at least 60 days from registration before transferring your domain. Additionally, domains cannot be transferred within a 60-day period after previous transfer "

You can, though, point the domain's DNS settings to WA's servers and host your site at WA during that period.

Thanks for your reply, Bob. I've pointed the DNS setting to WA's servers. I've done it today. Or is it maybe I've to wait certain amount of time before the new DNS settings applied?

DNS settings *can* become visible to WA's servers in as little as an hour, sometimes even less. On the other hand, they can take up to a full day. There's no way to predict in advance how long it will take on any particular domain. You won't be able to create a site on WA hosting until its servers see your domain's DNS settings pointed at them.

I guess I just have to wait then.
Thanks for your help, Bob.

You must have changed or updated the registrar information during your transfer over to WA hence you got that message as ICANN detected a mismatch in information.

Unfortunately neither WA or your registrar can bypass that. I have had the same issue.

If you paid WA for the transfer let them know and they will refund you.

There is no way around it. You have to wait 60 days unfortunately.

Thanks john for the reply. If that is the case, I will contact WA about it.
