Save Money by turning off the cable and shutting down your dish.
First of all technology is making it easier than ever to watch your favorite programs at your leisure.
If you are paying anywhere from $150.00 to $225.00 per month on your cable, dish , or direct TV, I have some tips for you.
My wife and myself take pleasure in watching TV together, My wife watches Mystery Dramas and I like to watch News, History, Discovery, SCI and the NASA Channels.
We found in order for us to fulfill our TV Watching desires we ended up paying around $198.00 a month. We took inventory of the shows we were watching and the shows available to watch we discovered we were paying for stuff we never watched. The shows never watched were added to the overall package provided by the carrier.
When we tried to separate the useless shows we found ourselves with the just the basic package and when we added back our mostly watched shows we found our bill back up to triple digits and still we had to add shows we did not want to watch or never watched in the pass, so we were a square one again trying to decrease our TV Bill.
My son came to stay with us over the Holidays and he showed us a whole new way to watch TV, this was unexpected because he never watched TV with us in the past.
By using our existing internet hook up, which is with our present phone provider, we found that for the initial investment of around the cost of Two months of TV subscriptions we are able to watch TV at this lower cost. That is a savings of $2,000.00 per year.
Just by simply using internet technology via streaming services.

I know the feeling. We had a "Triple Play" and were at most watching a few channels out of the several hundred of our "package". We ditched the cable (and gave away our TV, and mostly view classics which we're interested in anyway on Hulu for 8.00 a month, and Netflix for 8.00 a month. It's a huge savings. Yes, we do have to wait for "Walking Dead" after a new season starts for it to be loaded into Netlix, but it's better than paying almost 200.00 for Internet, phone and TV. Now we just pay for Internet and phone from our cable company. Note: we don't even miss the TV except when our computer's being cleaned that is. Oh, well. ;)
Hulu and Nextfilx along with YouTube works as well. And if you need local channels then incorporate a digital antenna
Thanks, I watch a lot of YouTube as well. A digital antenna doesn't really work for me as we don't have a TV or a TV Tuner card, but as I said, I don't feel the lack really. I like to do a lot of reading too. :)
