If anyone finds the sound of a thunderstorm relaxing, I have a place to go.

Depending on what my mood is when I am sitting in front of the computer, I could be listening to any number of different types of music. I love all kinds. However, I ran across this site and thought I would share. It is only the sound of a thunderstorm. They do have music that you can play in the background, and I think they change the artist everyday. I find it very relaxing and it goes great with Jazz. Hope you enjoy it.

Thanks Lance!

You are very welcome. Enjoy.

Lovely! Very nice share, Lance! I like that you can go and choose a different rendition with the list of many entries toward the bottom of the screen.

Great addition to my day! See me smiling? "-)

Hell yeah, I love thunderstorms. They're exciting to watch and kinda relaxing too.. when I was a little girl, I would enjoy it when it was raining hard outside and I was home, warm in my cozy bedroom. It made it very relaxing too.

Open the rain sound in 1 window so you can hear it play, then open this in another so you can hear them both together. It's jazz.

I love thunderstorms, thank you for the sound.

When we lived in New South Wales we had some fantastic thunder and lightning storms. They usually happened while we had music on and no matter the music they always seemed to fit it. Once the storm was directly behind a Kurrajong tree. This tree has a rounded shape and it had no leaves at that time. The lightning never extended beyond the round shape and the tree was silhouetted by the blinding flashes. I think The Who were on the stereo at the time. It was a wonderful show.

Thanks for sharing
