Mind creation
Love is a natural inheritance found in all beings. Yet in our minds we create fear, guilt, anxiety and condemnation due to Spiritual deprivation of continual worldly expectations. The fear and guilt that we manufacture, if left unresolved, can lead to the conviction of unworthiness.
We can experience love through peace and joy or we can experience fear and or guilt through a seemly endless cycle of anxiety attack and danger. Naturally it is our goal to choose the emotion we want to experience in any given situation.
The power of happiness is found within. We will not find long lasting happiness by seeking it from another or conditions in our external world. I give to you love and light. I am receiving simultaneously what I've gifted you. This is true in all situations and relationships. Be careful... it is contagious.

You are right, if we can't find happiness in ourselves we won't be able to be truly happy. It's easy to get consumed by other feelings as we are human but if you focus on your own internal happiness and understand what makes you happy, you'll be better off.
