First Week at Wealthy Affiliate

So, I am about a week in to my business here at Wealthy Affiliate and I have loved every second of it so far. From the training, to the the community, I think there are a lot of great things going on here and am very excited to keep moving forward and learning and growing my business.

It was kind of funny how I even got started here....

I was on Facebook one night and came across a link that said something like "50 ways to earn a little extra income a month" and since I am a recent college graduate (aka not a lot of extra money) I decided to click on it just too see what it was about even though I knew in the back of my head it was probably a scam.

There were a lot of little things that the article suggested but they were very random and you had to do A LOT of those things just to get a small amount of extra money each month. On that site, however, was a link to an internet marketing site. It looked promising at first (I almost fell for it, thank god I didn't) and I decided to do some research on it but when I tried to get off the site there were multiple pop ups that tried to get me to stay (are you sure you want to leave this site? If you stay you will get an extra 50% off the membership price)....yeah no thanks.

So I did research on that site just for the heck of it and to no surprise they were all negative reviews about how people lost money.

HOWEVER,

on almost every single one of those review sites there was a link or review on the bottom for Wealthy Affiliate. This lead me to reviewing WA and truthfully could not find one single negative review but also didn't see any "get rich quick" vibes from any of the reviews.

I am an Insurance Agent who sells Life Insurance policies so this has been a very exciting hobby for me in my spare time. I say "hobby" because I truly enjoy working on my website and creating content for it that I know a lot about.

I just finished course 2 so I still have a LOT left to add to my website but would love if you guys could take a look at it and give me some feedback or leave a comment on one of my posts.

Hopefully at some point I can turn this hobby into a full time job :)
