I am consistently getting 2,500 hits a month on my site but I am not sure what to do next? Can anyone look at my site and tell me what they think I should do now? I am not makin

2,500 hits a month is great. If you monetize with googe adsense, the y pay per click and also you earn a small amount for every thousand page views. I would research some other affiliates if you aren't earning revenue with the ones your using. trial and error, you have the traffic, you just need the right ads. Your site is very nice!

That's great! You are heading in the right direction now that you have some traffic flowing to your site. The first general thing I would suggest is this training: Take a look at where your traffic is coming from, so you know what type of content people want to read, and WHERE you can funnel visitors to make sales. Also look at what people read most so you can find an appropriate product to promote to them.

So check out who your audience is. Are they bartenders looking to learn how to get a job? Are they folks interested in facts about booze? Once you figure that out, you can know more about which direction to take your site.

Have you started doing any reviews yet? That could be a good way to start earning money too.

Hey Kyle, congrats. Here's what I noticed with a few of your posts I checked out. There aren't any links telling me where I can find some of the products you have listed.

For example the glasses, where can I get those? Where can I access some of the wines your suggesting that's under $50.00 and how quickly can I get it when I order it?

You get where I'm coming from? Tell your reader a bit more about the glasses and put a link or two in there from which they can access to purchase.

Hope this was helpful.

Thank you for your feedback. I fixed that problem, now there are links in all of those

Oh, I forgot - Congratulations on 2500 hits a month!!!

I am new to WA so don't know what I can offer, but I agree with the post below. The review for the vodka at the top of the page recommends purchasing it, but doesn't provide a link for someone to jump to a site where they can do so. Is it possible to provide a link within the article to purchase the products you are specifically recommending? It's obvious a lot of work went into the review. Again, I'm new so I'm not exactly sure what's possible and what's not.

Add a review post and link it to a page, recommend the blender and continue doing this with other tools of the trades as well as related products.

I understand how to add affiliate links from Amazon. But I recently joined another affiliate program with wine.com. Now what I want to do is set up my wine page where you can cl

I see that wine.com uses LinkShare as its affiliate program manager. Well, in Australia anyway. I assume you have joined there already?

They would be responsible for the affiliate link setup.

Try right clicking the image then "copy link address", then pasting wherever you are trying to put it.

Are they just showing you the images or do they show you any code? your affiliate links should be the part of the code that starts with "a href = ..... then make sure to copy just the part that starts with http:// or https://

The end of the link will end with a " mark. Don't copy that, but copy to the last letter before it.

A link will always be https://website.com/affiliatecode or https://website.com/product ?affiliatecode

They are showing code but they dont seem to work

I had pretty much the same problem with one independent affiliate program. I sent them an email to contact them and ask what the problem was about. Since they have not repplied yet, I am assuming the website is not working anymore. I decided to find another affiliate program. Have you sent them emails? Have them repplied?

no, you are probably right

Not familiar with their site. They don't have any text links to choose from for the description of the wine you could add?

It just says "nothing found" when I add the link.

Looks like you have some other suggestions.

There are no text links provided? Most of my non-Amazon affiliates have separate text links you can use, as well as photo links. Then you just link your pic to the text provided like you would do any other link in the WP edit screen. I would write tot hem asking for text only links. Maybe someone else will chime in here with a better idea. Good Luck!

It says "text link" and I click on that. But when I add it to my site and check to see if it is working. It brings me to another page on my own site that says "nothing found"

You said click. Are you copying the text link to link to your own image? Click on your image in the edit screen and then copy their text link into the linking thingy in WP. Then check the open in a new window and save. When done correctly, clicking on your photo should open the page in the affiliate shop for that particular wine. I'm sure you know this, Kyle. I'm just trying to talk it out one step at a time. I wish I could offer more help. Sorry.

Yea that is what I am doing. It just is not working. But thank you for your help

You're welcome. Frustrating, I'm sure.

Definitely

Does anyone know if it is a plug-in I need to install so that when someone scrolls over a picture of mine it will appear bigger? Kind of like on ebay, when you mouse over a prod

Thanks for this question, Kyle, love that too, Loes

This is fairly easy to do with .css but I know of no plugin that is current that will do this for you.
It can also be done in javascript.

Codecanyon has information on this.

This page describes the process. http://webdesigninfo.wordpress.com/2007/05/26/creating-popup-image-viewer-in-css/

Thanks Craig, I have tagged this one, greetings Loes

if you have word press just type in image in larger in you plug ins and you should have plenty to choose from all the best

Can you elaborate on this? I am not sure what you mean

ok if you go to your website and in your dashboard you should have a plug in there and if you click on it there should be a option to add plug ins with a search button to search for different plugins that is where you type in image in larger and that is where they will pop up with different plugins for image in larger all the best

Ah, got you. Thank you

if you need any more help just pm me and I will do my best to help all the best

Try 'Image Zoomer' plugin
