I should be excited, but...
Ok, I have some awesome news!
One of my sites has seen exponential income growth over the last few months. Seriously, exponential!
Here's the catch:
Most of the earnings have come from adsense, not affiliate promotions, and since I have a 1,600%+ month over month jump I'm nervous about getting banned from adsense.
Is that crazy? I should be excited, right? I've just heard weird horror stories about people randomly getting kicked off adsense and not getting their "earned" fees.
Any advice or wisdom?

You only have one site listed, what is the URL...I was interested in seeing what you had going on. I just added some of these to my site and earned 3.00 from it so far, that was in about a week. :))
i have a couple in progress: boatersafety.org and affiliate-101.com are my main 2 at this point.
I am not sure I see where you are using Adsense, unless there is a different way to use it than how I am using it.
You shouldn't be concerned about getting kicked off of adsense, the only time this happens is if you are clicking your own links or you have content on your website that breaks their rules (usually adult/gambling related).
You may want to consider trying some affiliate promotions within your content moving forward, you will be able to scale your income much quicker than through adsense in particular if you are getting a lot of high quality and relevant traffic.
You should be proud of your success thus far Kyle, nothing to fear here. Keep doing what you are doing, keep working hard, and your income will only continue to scale!
Thanks Kyle! I feel like it's at the cusp of starting to do really well, just need to get it over the hump!
When you say include affiliate promos within the content, do you mean as an effective "display ad" that just has an affiliate link? (eg: in place of an ad banner) or to focus more on the text-driven links: "i'm talking about X and this product (with link) is how I accomplish it"?
Appreciate your input!
I am referring to targeted placement of affiliates links and recommendations within your content. This is whatnots taught as you go through the training. The tough part is solved..:the traffic. Now it is a matter of monetizing that traffic.
I would suggest that you do a little research into how to protect yourself from click bombing.

Firstly massive congrats on your success. I just checked out your boating safety site... really nice.
However I read a post on safety vests that had the offer of a link to your recommendation (http://boatersafety.org/life-jackets/oneill-superlite-uscg-vest). Now this page only has an image of the vest surrounded by Adsense ads.
You'd have to test this next bit but I would guess you'd make way more money from this page if it had a great review and affiliate link to where your visitor could but it.
Also, I'm not sure on this but having a page with only an image and ads may be against Google terms of service (not offering much value to the visitor). Great work though.
ok, thanks for the input. i'll try that out
