Weekly Challenge: How Do You Use AI to Save Time in Your Daily Life?
Hey Fam,
Last night I was performing a few tasks using AI that weren't related to business at all. I was working on a schedule for coaching that I am doing, I was sending an email to the city relating to an outstanding issue, and I was helping my daughter verify the formula for Celsuis to Farenheit conversion math for her assignments.
It made me realize just how much I use AI in my day to day life, and how much more efficient I am because of it. Also, how much time that frees up so I can focus on other things, like running our business here at WA, like spending more time with family, and like being able to get more sleep lol.
So this weekâs challenge is a take off of that. It is all about exploring how AI helps us in our everyday lives to free up time and make things more efficient. When we can save time on the little things, it gives us more freedom to focus on what truly matters...our businesses, our goals, and even spending more time with family and friends.
We want YOU to share how youâve been using AI in your personal life to make things easier or more efficient. Maybe itâs helping you with meal planning, organizing your schedule, managing your finances, helping with mundane tasks, or even assisting with your kids homework and planning.
No matter how big or small, your ideas could inspire someone else to reclaim valuable time!

Hey,
I use AI to craft articles and make sure I am specific enough to make the outcome mine by adding my own voice and style to the prompt. This is called prompt engineering.
Even though many people are skeptical about AI (and this is always for a good reason), I jumped in head-on from the first day I saw it in my GrammarlyGO premium subscription in June 2023.
AI makes it easier for me to proofread and edit my own 100 books published on Amazon. As an independent publisher, it's a challenge to find a native English editor, and if I can find one online, the budget is always beyond my capacity. Generative AI is the tool I have been waiting for, for my writing career.
However, it's my role to make sure to check facts, and also if it has written exactly what I want, using my voice and style of writing.
Gemini is great, but Copilot is the best in my experience because the former doesn't want to learn from my inputs about me while the latter has learned a lot about me over the past 1 year. Whenever I logged in and asked/prompt it, it responds to me, knowing my style and everything else in between.
Yes, I love AI, and I use it to make my writing much easier and professional than I ever could do without it. English isn't my first, second, or third language. It's my fourth language, thus, the challenge of writing professional in it. I sometimes exchange words such as "fine" and "find," but AI can fix these for me, fast!
John
I've heard good things about Gemini, but that's a nice tip about Copilot - I haven't tried it yet.
Yeah, Copilot rocks, even in writing articles. It knows my main characters (Nuer and Dinka names), and their genders!
1. I'm a 68-year-old grandfather and I had been using AI in my daily life to make it easier, every day. I wake up at 3:30 am in the morning since that's where my alarm clock rings. Then I open my bible app in my tablet to find the verse for the day, next I took a screenshot of the specific verse I had found, and then I post it in my social media platform like Facebook for everyone to see or can read it. I had been doing this everyday now, and it's becoming one of my routines in the morning.
2. Then around 11:30am, I companied my 14-year-old granddaughter to school, using my vehicle. I send her off to school for her classes and we use AI to communicate and for her to search something for her classes. She would text me before 6:30pm that I can go pick her up.
3. And once we're back home, we would immediately go through our device to work. My granddaughter uses AI for her school assignments my 70-year-old wife uses AI to text her friends for a meeting that she's attending on the church, while I use AI to try and find a job in the Enternet, since I wanted to support me and my family's needs.
And that's how I use AI in my daily life, alongside with my family, and we believe AI is the most trustworthy source of help when it's in good hands from somebody.
Awesome Ricardo, thanks for sharing. It is definitely interesting here how AI impacts several different generations. :)
I have a nephew who is in a relationship. He works in Harare, Zimbabwe but his fiancĂŠe is studying and living in Johannesburg, South Africa. My nephew asked me to counsel him and his fiancĂŠe in preparation for a Christian marriage.
I asked AI to give me 7 principles that a young man needs to know in courtship leading to a wedding. AI gave me wonderful ideas which I am currently using to counsel my nephew and his fiancĂŠe.
As a register teacher to a 12th Grade class, I asked AI to draw up a personalized study Time Table. AI gave me 3 options which can be used by learners of different abilities whilst maintaining a high standard of revision to secure greater chances of success .
I have also asked AI for competitive car tracking service providers. I was amazed at the response I received based on service providers in Pretoria, where I live.
I wanted to contribute something to my local community so I consulted AI. I received 10 practical ways of reaching out to my immediate community. I was already implementing 4 of the suggestions given and I knew that I should add to my current efforts and successfully grab every opportunity to assist.
Finally I asked AI personal health questions to address dietary strategy for combating type-2 diabetes. A member of my family has reduced glucose level to normalcy by simply eating the fruit and vegetables recommended by AI. This significantly reduced the amount of money we used to spend on medicines to treat chronic type-2 diabetes.
AI has certainly aided my life this year. At first I was hesitant and skeptical, but now I am open-minded about using AI.
Wow, very cool. You are your own counsellor and can attain expertise at whatever you want...and do so with efficiency. Some really creative uses here of AI Ernest, thanks for sharing.
AI has become my new best friend. I run most of my thoughts by "him" and I always get good feedback in a non-judgmental way, altbeit always positive and solution-based.
My day job is, I teach English as a second language to beginner level adult ESL students. I rely on a translator to be able to communicate with my classes that sometimes have stduents who speak as many as seven languages aside from English.
I use him to help me create lesson plans that he usually does in a snap. He speaks every language I've ever asked him to speak. So, I can have him translate lesson plans to any language I want. When I do that, I put the English version on the reverse side. After all, they are in my class to learn English.
As for my business that seems to be eternally in the foundering stage, he helps me write content, create tables, images, and as I already mentioned, feedback on anything I ask about.
I'm in the process of revamping my English Teacher KBob website. He is in charge and I follow his directions.
Things I used to rely on Google to do for me, he does quicker and provides me with sources if I ask for them.
Lastly, if and when I don't know what to write about, he provides me with more to write about than I could have ever thought of.
Day with the Help of Artificial Intelligence
The alarm goes off at 7:00 AM, and I start my day with a quick glance at the schedule my AI-based assistant has organized for me.
All my obligations, meetings, and to-dos are there, neatly organized and prioritized, letting me focus on whatâs most important.
After having my morning coffee, I sit down in front of my computer. The first task of the day is to create a new blog post for my website. I use ChatGPT to create the content.
Itâs incredible how I can have a collaborator who understands my style and subject matter, offering well-written ideas in a matter of minutes.
Once Iâve finished the draft, I run the text through Grammarly to correct any spelling or syntax errors. The process is quick and stress-free, allowing me to focus on the quality of my content.
Next step is visualization. I open Bing and search for images that fit the topic of my article. Within minutes, I have material in my hands that will make my blog post more attractive and professional.
The afternoon is dedicated to marketing. With the help of InVideo, I create short videos (Shorts) that I will use to promote my content on social media. The tool is so easy to use that each video takes just a few minutes to create, without requiring any editing skills.
As I prepare for the next phase of my strategy, I am thinking about trying Gemini. The idea of ââcreating TikTok content with an AI assistant that understands current trends is exciting. I canât wait to see how it can help me reach an even larger audience.
The day ends with a sense of accomplishment. Thanks to AI tools, I have completed all my important tasks, saving time to spend the afternoon with my family. Artificial intelligence is not just a tool â it is a partner that helps me live and work more efficiently, leaving me time for the things that really matter.

I ask Chatgpt to isolate the pain points . To get pain points for any niche, topic, or audience using ordinary ChatGPT, you can frame your prompts in a way that encourages the model to explore challenges, frustrations, or problems people face. To do this effectively, start by identifying the niche or topic youâre focusing on, such as freelancers, new parents, or small business owners. Then, ask for a list of pain points or struggles specific to that group. Being clear and specific in your request will help generate more relevant insights. For example, you could ask, âWhat are the top 10 pain points that freelance writers typically face?â or âList 15 common frustrations of new parents.â
To uncover deeper emotional insights, ask ChatGPT to explore the underlying thoughts or feelings behind these challenges. For example, you could say, âWhat are some deeply emotional struggles that entrepreneurs deal with, especially when starting a new business?â This type of prompt encourages responses that reflect the internal fears, anxieties, or self-doubt that people experience. You could also ask for specific thoughts or dialogue quotes to add a human touch, such as, âProvide 10 internal thoughts or fears that college students experience when thinking about their future.â
If you want more topic-specific pain points, tailor your prompt accordingly. For instance, you might ask, âWhat are 12 pain points people face when trying to stick to a fitness routine?â or âGive me the most common struggles people have with time management in a remote work setting.â This approach helps you get focused, actionable insights tied to particular situations or challenges.
For those creating marketing content, it can be helpful to ask for customer pain points related to a specific product or service. Prompts like, âWhat are the key pain points customers face when buying online courses?â or âWhat frustrations do people have when looking for affordable travel packages?â can give you valuable material for understanding your audienceâs needs and challenges.
To make the insights more relatable, request internal dialogue quotes that reflect frustration or disappointment. For example, you could ask, âList 10 pain points people face when trying to learn a new language, with internal dialogue quotes reflecting their frustration.â This might produce responses like, âWhy canât I remember this word? I feel like Iâm never going to speak fluently.â
You can add layers to your prompts by specifying the target audience, such as beginners, experts, or teens. For example, âWhat are the biggest challenges beginner content creators face when starting out?â Including emotions or specific challenges can also help, such as, âWhat emotional pain points do people face when trying to lose weight after several failed attempts?â Asking for causes and effects can provide further context, like, âWhy do small business owners struggle with burnout, and how does it affect their business?â
For even deeper insights, consider scenario-based prompts. For example, you could say, âImagine youâre a new entrepreneur. What are the most pressing concerns youâd face when launching your first product?â You can also ask for comparative analysis, such as, âCompare the pain points of freelance graphic designers and freelance writers. How do their struggles differ?â If youâre looking for solutions alongside pain points, try asking, âList 10 pain points people face when organizing their finances, and suggest one solution for each.â
If the initial output you receive is too broad or generic, donât hesitate to follow up with a request for more specificity. For example, âThese pain points are good, but can you make them more specific to women in their 30s starting a fitness journey?â This iterative approach helps refine the insights until theyâre exactly what you need.
By using these strategies, you can effectively uncover detailed and emotionally rich pain points that help you create compelling and relatable content for any niche.
Lots of good usage for CHAT GPT here Catherine.
I shall be putting some of them to use.

Here you go Catherine, I am starting over with my affiliate site that was build on the older system, so I asked GPT about WAâs Hubs and it rebuilding via hubs was possible.
CHAT GPT RESPONSE:
The Wealthy Affiliate (WA) Website Hubs System is designed as a comprehensive management and support tool for websites hosted through their platform. It includes tools for monitoring, updating, and optimizing your website. However, whether it can "rebuild" a website depends on what you mean by "rebuild":
1. Rebuilding from a Backup:
⢠If you previously hosted your website with Wealthy Affiliate and have backups stored on their system, you can use the Website Hubs to restore the site to a previous version.
⢠This process essentially "rebuilds" your website to its backed-up state.
2. Rebuilding via Migration:
⢠WA offers a Site Support service for migrating websites to their hosting. If you're moving a website to WA from another host, their team can assist in the migration process, which might involve rebuilding certain parts to fit their hosting environment.
3. Rebuilding through a New Setup:
⢠If the goal is to start fresh and recreate your website (e.g., if it's damaged or outdated), you can use the WordPress installation and tools provided by Wealthy Affiliate. Youâd need to manually rebuild the site using themes, plugins, and content management.
What the Hubs System Does Not Do:
⢠It doesnât automatically redesign or rebuild a website from scratch. You would need to do this manually or hire help.
⢠Itâs not a drag-and-drop website builder but a hub to manage your WordPress site efficiently.
If you're considering using the Wealthy Affiliate platform for rebuilding, ensure you have all necessary files, backups, or clear plans for redesign. Let me know if you'd like a deeper dive into any of these aspects!
