Today marks the launch of the new Wealthy Affiliate environment, the biggest day in the 20 year history of our company.
This update brings everything into one place so you can learn, earn, and grow your online business faster than ever, and it is setting us up to move WA into a "rapid development environment" where we are going to be building, innovating and evoling the platform here at a faster pace than ever.
Let's have a look what has come with this BIG update...
First Up, Earn As You Learn.
You earn points for interacting, creating, and helping others. Points come from watching videos, completing lessons, video blogging, blogging, commenting, like, and getting liked, and being active within WA (with regularity). All Premium level members in the community will be able to video blog (within the next week) and earn status on our brand-new leaderboard platform.
You can cash out your earnings each month once you hit the $10 threshold. Some members earn a few dollars per month while others cover their entire membership cost...or more. This program is automatic for Premium and Premium Plus members.
NOTE: On Starter you can see your earnings but cannot cash out earnings until you are at a Premium Level. , and you earn at a lower rate than Premium level members.
Updated Core Training & Centralized Menu Link.
We have refocused our core training on the future of building an online business, including how AI fits into our platform. Success comes down to traffic and reach, so every module emphasizes strategies to drive more visitors and grow your audience.
The paths blend short videos, step-by-step tutorials, and hands-on exercises so you never wonder what to do next.
On another note, you are no longer required to build a Hub to access the core training as it is now within the main menu, under "Core Training". This core training is going to be completely revamped, with the first phase rolling out by Friday of this week.
Next Generation Training & Communities Platform.
Our new Communities platform lets you dive into any topic you choose. You can now join communities around the following topics:
- SEO
- PPC
- X
- Artificial Intelligence
- YouTube
- User-Generated Content
- Email Marketing
- Wordpress
- And More (With Many More to Come)
Experts in each area share real tips and stories. You can belong to multiple communities to build skills across the board, and master and gain status with any community you want.
Dark Mode & Light Mode.
Pick the view that works best for you. Dark mode reduces eye strain in low light, and light mode keeps things bright during the day.
You can toggle modes at the bottom of the side menu next to “Account Settings.” Your choice syncs across all your devices. See below (the red arrow).

Choose whichever one you like most, or change it based on your mood for the day. There is a lot of awesome feedback about dark mode though, try it out!

It looks very clean and tidy, Kyle. I haven't been through it in depth yet, but I am looking forward to that.
I love the new "earn as you learn" feature. Not least because I love rankings and lists, etc, it introduces a little bit of fun into this, well, for me, at least.
I really am excited for this going forward. I have had challenges this year, but I am determined to have a strong 2nd half to the year. This will help enormously.
This is such an exciting update, Kyle—thank you and the team for all the hard work behind the scenes!
I checked out the new dark mode and it does look really sleek, but I have to admit... I’m still more of a light-mode girl! 😄 Either way, the fresh look and added features like the communities and leaderboards make the platform feel so alive and collaborative.

Thanks for the update, Kyle! The new point system and leaderboard sound quite motivating—its amazing, how it rewards genuine engagement and contribution.
One little thing I do miss though, is points for sharing content from WA. While we already get affiliate commissions when someone joins through our shared links (which is awesome!), adding points for sharing blog posts or training could be a fun bonus. It would encourage more members to spread the word, total win-win, WA gets more visibility, and members get rewarded with both points and potential commissions.
Just a thought and thanks for creating such a supportive and evolving space for us all:)
Dear Kyle. Thank you for this great innovation and the new look. I looked around and I can say the new UX is user friendly. But I did not see any feature that had a functions like Jaxxy where we would look at keywords, QSI, site rankings, Alphabet soup etc. Are we going to have that feature in the new UX??
We are going to have full integrations of the aspects of Jaaxy we want, along with a lot of awesome new bells and whistles that will be helping you with your business. So expect lots of awesome stuff coming!

Thank you for sharing for the great update. I love the new UX on WA. I'm now having a look around and getting used to the new look.
It's amazing and I love all the new features. My favourite thing about this update is definitely the leaderboards and points system.
It's a great addition to WA and I think it's really awesome that you can now make money by being active and engaging with the community.
This is something I have always wanted on WA and it's even better now it's here. There is nothing like it anywhere else and I have never found any other legit way to earn by being active than this new opportunity here at WA.
I also love the new communities feature and the update to live chat and I'm looking forward to using them.
Overall I love the new UX and everything about this new update. I'm really looking forward to checking it all out and going through the new training as well as earning with the new points system.
I actually already have 25 points and $0.16 and I haven't done anything today aside from logging in, taking a look around, liking some comments and writing this comment. So I'm excited to see how I'm going to go with the leaderboards and points system.

Awesome isn't it? I have been working on my article, commenting a few times as well as posting. Just make sure you read up on the rules when it comes to the point system. You can find that in the leaderboard section that you should see to the left of your screen. When you click on that it will take you to a page showing you rank and picture.
Above will be a few tabs look for the one that says "How it works" and that should take you to the section where the point system is explain in great detail. Or you can follow this link and it will take right to it. I think everyone should read up on these rules so you wont get banned or lose points because you were unaware.

I was going to choose a couple of communities to join but most look important. How to choose? Pinterest and Instagram might be the best for me first because it would be nice if I can figure out how to make them more professional and accessible to the world. MAC.
