Beer with Kyle Fridays: First Full Preview of the New Wealthy Affiliate Experience

Hey Everyone,
Not sure why this week has moved so fast, probably just because we are so heads down working hard on the new experience at Wealthy Affiliate.

I do not really want to call this an iteration, because it is a full rebuild. It is a bit more than just the next version of Wealthy Affiliate. It is a complete rethink and a complete rebuild, and that is what I want to go over with you today. I will walk through some of the items and the thinking behind them, and give you a preview of where we are headed.

Part of the reason I am showing you this is to open up a discussion, but I also want you to feel comfortable with the new UX before we actually roll it out. We are taking a lot of the complication out of the existing platform. Right now we have a massive menu with a lot going on, and I think you are really going to like the direction we are headed.

This Week's Beer..

I have a bit of fun going on over here today. I have a beer paddle, the kind used for flights, and each one comes with four little glasses so you can do a taste-testing flight. We used these one year in Vegas. Many of you have probably had a flight before at a brewery where you try four different beers.

This week's beer is a Corona. It is a beautiful day and it just feels like a Corona kind of day, so I am pouring it into one of these fancy little flight glasses. I think I know exactly how this is going to taste... and yep, delicious Corona as usual. Cheers.

A Complete Rethink, Not Just an Update.

Let me take you into the back office of the new experience. Keep in mind it might not look exactly like this when we roll it out. Some terminology might change, some of the UX might shift, but this is generally the design.

What we have really focused on is simplifying and centralizing things, while making your experience at Wealthy Affiliate more relevant and applicable to you and your business than ever. And that stretches across everything. The things you are building, the things you are learning, your community interactions, and meeting you with help exactly when and where you need it in your business. All of these are critical to your success and your ability to scale.

Why the Old Education Model Is Outdated...

The conventional mindset around education feels a bit antiquated to us. The textbook form of learning is no longer required, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to education in the online business world.

There are so many facets to this world, and we do not necessarily know what you want to do when you arrive or where you want to go. You could be a TikTok influencer. You could be running an e-commerce store selling widgets. You could be a localized marketer helping offline businesses, or an offline business trying to come online. You could be an affiliate marketer. There is such a wide breadth of audience we can now serve within this new environment, and that is the ultimate goal of anything we build.

A Dashboard Custom to You!

The dashboard is going to be custom to you and the things you are working on. That is important, and it is going to evolve. You will see a bird's-eye view of everything going on across your activities at Wealthy Affiliate and within your business.

Hubs Taken to the Next Level :)

Hubs have been taken to the next level. You will be able to have one to many hubs depending on your membership level.

I know memberships have been a bit of a concern. How are they going to work? We are taking all of that into consideration, and your memberships are actually going to be in a BETTER state than they are now. We are not taking anything away. We are adding a whole lot in terms of experience, capability, and even credit use. You will be able to create more with your existing memberships. I wanted to cover that directly because I know those questions are already coming up.

For a quick preview, it does not matter what you are working on. Websites, Instagram, you can add multiple channels depending on which facet of the online world you want to leverage, and each of these will be a customized environment based on what you want to build.

Community and Live Chat Are Here to Stay.

The community side of things is definitely not going anywhere. It is still going to be as interactive as ever, just much more personalized and customized based on what you are working on and the things you are interested in. And live chat is not going anywhere either. It is going to be available right in the sidebar.

Ace: The Brain Behind Your Operations.

Alongside live chat is your Ace assistant. You can leverage Ace to learn anything, perform tasks, build things within the environment, and initiate training. Ace is the brain behind your overall operations at Wealthy Affiliate, and it is deeply customized to you.

The Learn Environment Is Changing.

The Learn environment is going to change significantly. It is based on things YOU need to learn and want to learn, versus what we think you should learn. That is the big difference, and I think you are going to love it.

Say you want to learn Instagram for a particular hub or niche. You should be able to carve out an environment geared specifically toward that, and learn it in real time. You will even be able to architect and build tutorials suited specifically to you, that speak to the current state of your business. I do not want to get too deep into it here because it is still in development, but I am excited to showcase more when it rolls out.

The Library (Where You Build).

The Library area is where you are going to build things. We are not 100% settled on the name yet. It might transition into something more actionable, which is part of why I keep saying we are still weeks away. But whatever you want to build, you should be able to build it within this environment, and we will keep expanding it based on your wants and needs.

A Proper Website Management Area.

The website environment is vastly improved. There will be some changes before we roll it out, but it is going to be a proper management area. The current site manager is so antiquated I can barely look at it anymore, so it is in the dev cycle right now getting beautified. You will be able to capture information from your websites and use that information to help grow your business.

Real-Time Support and Better Hosting.

Real-time support is a big deal, and it is going to be fully integrated here. On top of that, we have been leveling up the quality of our hosting all year, continually advancing our network. You have probably noticed the quality has gone up drastically, and we are going to keep building on that technology.

More Opportunity Than Ever for Affiliates.

We are reintroducing a Vegas-style opportunity, and there is going to be more opportunity than ever to go full-time promoting Wealthy Affiliate if you want to. You will be able to build a hub that reflects your promotion of Wealthy Affiliate, and you will be able to promote this brand new environment, which should convert far better than anything we have ever built, and is more helpful than anything we have ever built.

Why We're So Excited...

We are working really hard and building faster than we ever have. We are more capable, and we believe we can build anything. That is a good position to be in.

Once you get your hands on this and start giving us feedback, you are going to see how quickly improvements happen, how quickly bug fixes happen, and how quickly new feature releases happen. Releasing this is just the START of the new experience. From there, we improve iteratively.

This has been our baby. We have spent the entire year so far rebuilding it behind the scenes, along with other projects like Kre8or and initiatives inside the existing platform. And we feel this is not just the best platform we have ever built. We feel it is by far the best in the industry, and that it will become the industry standard.
