It's Been Fun Ride, But We Are Stepping Down.

Back in 2005 when we started Wealthy Affiliate we had no idea what it could become. It started off as a keyword list website and before long it began evolving into something much more substantial, something much more powerful, something more helpful and something that is unfortunately much more time consuming.

WA has gone from our hobby, to our passion...to ultimately our life. We eat, sleep and live WA. We consider each and every person within the community part of our family. ;)

But that is where the problem resides...

Here I sit, MIDNIGHT o’clock writing this post with a sad heart. Not because it is late, but because Carson and I have spent a good deal of time thinking about a very important decision.

We have decided to step down from the leadership roles at Wealthy Affiliate.

We have grown tired. Long hours and new families to raise are starting to take their toll on our idea development and we feel that someone else could “take control of the ship”, and continue the WA ship on course of the sunny skies ahead.

I know this may come as alarming news and we have not really “lead on” that this might be taking place. The reason is because we have been working really hard behind the scenes to find our new leaders. In fact, the creation of these leaders took over 9 months and it was a very “laborious” process.

We have both found replacements that are going to drive WA to an entire new dimension. We have gone to the drawing board with our new leaders, they have sat in on meetings, and we have carried them around with us through our day-to-day activities so they know the stringent demands we have in respect to running a quality service.

Our successors are ready to take the reins from us and move WA to a place it has never been.

But guys, who are these people...and how can they step in after 8.5 years and just “take over”.

It is not as tough as it sounds. We recruited two special individuals that have WA in their blood. That is all they think about and they dream of taking WA to whole new “generational” heights, so to that we say “GO FOR IT!” :)

They are young, they are ambitious, and they have the youth that is going to add constant excitement to the community.

So today, I would like to personally welcome to you our new CEO and COO of Wealthy Affiliate. These are the leaders of the next decade and far beyond… (SCROLL DOWN TO SEE PICTURES OF OUR NEW LEADERS)
