Beer with Kyle Fridays: A Full Look Around the New Wealthy Affiliate and Meet Ace

Hey Everyone,
Today I have some exciting stuff in store. I am going to give you a look around the new Wealthy Affiliate environment.

This has not been released yet. We have been working really hard behind the scenes to establish an MVP, an initial release of the product, and from there we are moving into a hyper development environment. That means rolling out updates, features, and bug fixes in a very expedited manner, quicker than ever. That was one of the biggest reasons we rebuilt the entire platform from the ground up.

So this is a sneak peek. It is not ready for launch right now, but we are getting closer and closer. Anticipated launch is early October, and we are aiming hard for that. There are a lot of moving pieces with an update of this size. Twenty years of programming has gone into Wealthy Affiliate, and we have attempted to rebuild the entire thing in less than eight months. It is a big feat, but we are excited to get it out there.

This Week's Beer.

Today's beer needs no introduction. This is a Guinness. One of the most popular beers in the world. Nothing beats a good Guinness. I prefer it off the tap at a nice pub, but it is very tasty out of a can too.

Something unique about these cans is the little plastic ball inside. I have looked up why it is there at some point... you can actually hear it bouncing around when the can is empty. I believe it is there so the beer pours the way it does and gets that signature head, the foam on top. Do not quote me on that. Pouring it away from my computer as always so I do not wreck another one. Tastes just like a Guinness. Cheers.

Where the Rebuild Stands.

We are still at least four weeks out, likely a full month. But things have progressed nicely.

We are far along on the integration of websites and hosting, which is quite a project in itself. Alongside that is the redesign and rethinking of how people should be building businesses in the new world. How to create workflows, how to make it more agentic, and how to make it more interactive.

One thing that is really important to us as we move forward... we want to retain the community component and actually level up that experience. The community is a big part of Wealthy Affiliate and what we do, and that is not changing. I know some people worry about whether this is all going to be taken over by robots. That is not the case. With the assistance of AI you can do things much more efficiently, and the way I look at it, as I have explained in recent blog posts, is that you are able to borrow IQ, and borrow efficiency and speed, to become a better version of yourself. You are also able to educate yourself more efficiently than ever.

Our Goal: Getting the Right Answer, Right Away.

Even with a great community, you are not always going to get the right answer immediately, and it is not always going to be as timely as you need. If you have five minutes and need a specific answer, you do not want to be waiting around. So we are building that real-time capability into the environment.

We also want to give you a bird's-eye view of your business and the things you need to be working on. This ties into another big discussion... the judgment that comes with AI. Having good judgment is powerful, and we can assist you in judging which tasks are the priority versus handing you a giant shopping list to sift through yourself. Sometimes we feel busy in our business but do not actually get much done, because we are prioritizing the wrong things. Helping you focus on what actually matters is central to this design.

The New Dashboard.

Here I am within the dashboard. The menu might change slightly, so all the components you see might shift a bit, but this is the overall look and feel.

You will have light and dark mode. I know a lot of you favor dark mode now, so we develop everything with that in mind. We also develop mobile first, so it is going to be really nice to navigate on mobile, tablet, and desktop. My video here is on the desktop version.

Ace lives over on the side and is a central figure in helping you. It is your assistant, a smart one that understands your business, the things you are working on, and the things you need to work on. Live chat is not going anywhere either. You will be able to minimize it, see who is live in the environment, and have conversations that way. We have really maximized the real estate and navigation here.

What Makes Ace Different Than ChatBots.

Let me talk more about Ace, because this is the brainchild behind the entire project.

Ace is NOT your typical chatbot. I know we have all become accustomed to those annoying website chatbots that spit out canned, generic answers when you are looking for product help. Ace is far from that.

If you have used a generative AI platform like Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or Grok, you understand what a real chat experience should feel like. You offer an input and get an output, and over time those outputs have gotten better, more educated, more sophisticated, more targeted, more relevant, and more capable. That is where Ace is. Very capable, as intelligent as the intelligence out there.

If you have questions, you get answers in real time. But you can also ask Ace about your business, where you are at, and what you need to do, and it makes recommendations in real time. On top of that, the UX guides you and assists you along the way.

For example, I asked, "how do I find articles that I've created?" It gave me the answer and sent me a direct link to where I find them in the platform.

Inside a the New Hub Environment.

Here is an example hub I built, Youth Hoops Development, on a site. This is just a testing environment, but it shows the concept.

Every hub has a current game plan customized to you and what you want to do. In this case, I want to be on TikTok and Instagram, with a website as the base. I can add different channels and environments as I go.

Say I want to write a new article for my website. Ace can accomplish all sorts of tasks, not just articles. If you want to create Pinterest pins, you can leverage Ace for that too. It understands the proximity of what you are working on. In this case, it understands I have not created an About Me page for my website yet, but it also lets me stay in control.

That control piece is a big part of why we are moving away from core training. Core training is rigid and sequential. It assumes everyone wants to do the same thing, implement the same process, use the same platforms, the same theme designs, the same technology. That is an old way of thinking, and it just does not work. So we are rethinking how you educate yourself too. More personalized, more specialized, smarter training that understands you, the proximity of you within a business, which businesses you are running, what you have done in the past, what you have learned, and what you still need to learn. All of that feeds into Ace.

Content Is More Than Just Articles.

Let me stage that About Me page and move forward. It is already a pretty functional environment. The About Me page is staged.

One thing on terminology... we do not want to view everything as just "articles." Content is all sorts of things to all sorts of aspects of your business. If you are writing a Facebook ad, that is still content. Text based or image based. So we think of content on a much broader scale than just writing articles for search engines, because you could be building content for many different things at once.

I will go ahead and write this just to show you it is functional. You can see it writing in real time, giving you the components you need to add. As you give it a voice, it starts to understand the way you write and create content, and you can assist it with any specific nuance you want it to pick up on. From there, I can publish to my site, edit, rewrite, integrate images, all of it. Ace can assist with any of those processes as I move forward.

Starting a Whole New Business Mid-Conversation.

Here is something nice. You can be in the middle of one thing and ask Ace something completely different, and it helps you with that too.

Say I want to start a new business. That means creating a new hub, your dedicated workspace for a niche. Ace walks me through the process and helps me construct a brand new hub. The hub creation process is brilliant. It works exactly how you would expect.

Let me quickly run through one. I always do basketball stuff, so let me pick something I am not particularly interested in... knitting. Maybe I could still build a business in that niche.

It asks what angles I want to focus on. I go with beginner knitting tutorials as the core. It confirms beginners are a good target with high search volume, and gives me a breakdown of the niche quality.

It asks who I am picturing. Total beginners, people with some experience, or people who tried once and gave up? I say both. You can see it constructing everything over on the left side, and I can update it at any point just by talking to Ace.

Then it asks the main outcome I want from my traffic. I say traffic and affiliate revenue. If I were selling my own products, I would just tell it that and it would understand. It suggests making money through affiliate sales of yarns, needles, kits, and supplies.

Then, where do I want to publish? A website, video, or something more? I could say whatever I want, or say I am not sure yet, which is totally okay, because a lot of people will not be sure. In this case I go with a website and YouTube. It confirms that is a good combo since YouTube is huge.

Then, how should the content sound? A no-nonsense expert, a patient teacher, warm and encouraging? I choose a patient teacher, someone teaching a newbie who knows all the nuance of what can go wrong.

It asks if there is anything else I should know before launch, content pillars or constraints. I can add anything there. Then I launch my hub, and Beginner Knitting is live.

Now I enter the headquarters for my business. It has Ace proposals for what I should be working on, a YouTube area with a game plan being drafted, and a website game plan. I can add other game plans related to that business as I move forward.

I could honestly have a two or three hour conversation with you right now, so I will leave it there. I really wanted to show you Ace and open up a discussion about it.

Your feedback matters now, and it is going to matter more than ever moving forward. Because of the new environment and the way we can build it out, development is going to be driven by your decisions, your wants, your needs, and your feedback. The community always has brilliant feedback and we appreciate it.

We build Wealthy Affiliate for you, our audience, but we also build it in a way that WE would want to use. Because if we as the owners are building something we do not use, that does not make much sense. We did the same thing with Kre8or. We built something we genuinely want to use, because if we want to use it, we feel you will too. Combine that with all the community feedback on things to improve and features to add, and it leads to the ultimate environment that only gets better over time.
