Beer with Kyle: DesignPop Updates & Your Feedback Decides What's Next

Today, I want to follow up on Designpop Studio. Last week, we rolled out the Logo Creator, and this week we ran a challenge where members shared some awesome logo creations. Next up is the Image Studio, and I’d love your feedback on what features you’d like to see.

Before we get into this, let’s talk about this week’s beer.

This Week’s Beer: Party Wave Hazy Pale (Slackwater Brewing).

This week I’m trying a Party Wave Hazy Pale from Slackwater Brewing, located in Port Moody (just outside Vancouver).

It’s a lighter beer at 4.5% ABV, and it pours similar to a hazy IPA. Port Moody is known for having great breweries, so it’s no surprise, .this one is very good.

I’m enjoying it in one of our Wealthy Affiliate glasses from Vegas. Quick side note: during COVID, we had a special run of pilsner glasses for Vegas, but they broke in shipping and we never actually got to use them. Lesson learned—glasses don’t travel well!

Designop Studio: What’s Next?

Last week we launched Designpop Studio with the Logo Creator. Many of you have already tested it and seen what it can do.

The next step is Image Studio, which will expand far beyond logos. This will cover:

• Website images (headers, blog visuals, banners)
• Ad creatives (Facebook, Instagram, Google ads, etc.)
• Social media visuals (Pinterest, YouTube thumbnails, and more)

Images are a core part of every online business. Whether for your site, your ads, or your brand identity. That’s why we want to make the process fast, efficient, and high quality.

Your Feedback is Key.

Here’s where you come in:

• What types of images do you create most often?
• Which dimensions do you use most (blog headers, Pinterest, thumbnails, ads, etc.)?
• What features would make an Image Studio most useful for your business?

Your feedback is how we make sure these tools serve you. We don’t just build for the sake of building, we build to solve real problems and make your work easier, faster, and more successful.

Weekly Challenge Reminder.

If you haven’t already, check out this week’s Logo Design Challenge. It’s sitting near the top of the dashboard (likely in the Top 10).

You’ll see almost 200 comments already with incredible logos members have created. And remember your logo doesn’t have to be for your current brand. It can be something new, creative, or experimental.

Looking Ahead at Future Updates.

Outside of Designpop, here’s what else is in progress:

• Affiliate Bootcamp Relaunch → starting mid-September, with training running into the end of the year (and beyond).
• Vegas Incentive → 50 sales between Sept 1–Dec 31 gets you to Vegas.
• Other projects → Jaaxy refresh, a new version of Hubs, improved Site Support, and ongoing hosting enhancements.

Lots more is happening behind the scenes, including a few surprise projects you’ll hear about soon.
