Beer with Kyle Fridays: Agentic AI and a First Look at the New Wealthy Affiliate

Today I want to dig into something I blogged about yesterday... agentic AI. What does it actually mean, and what is it going to mean for your business and the future of the platform here at Wealthy Affiliate?

We got a really good conversation going on the blog yesterday, over a hundred comments, with a lot of insightful feedback about workflows people would love to automate or at least streamline. So I want to unpack the concept, share some of that feedback, and then give you an early stage sneak peek into the new WA environment we have been building.

This Week's Beer.

Today's beer is a bit of a fun one. In British Columbia, Alberta, and I think Ontario, you can buy beer at places like Costco. Well, while I was down in the US I grabbed the Kirkland lager, which is a partnership with Deschutes. Deschutes is an excellent brewery. They make some of the best barrel aged stouts, which I happen to collect, so I have a lot of respect for them.

This is a Costco beer through and through, but it is a really nice tasting lager. Light, as most lagers are, around 4.5% ABV. Great on a summer day, and it has been a hot one here in Victoria, around 30 degrees Celsius. We actually had thunder and lightning storms yesterday, which are not typical for Vancouver Island. That led to a few local fires, though I believe they have been put out. Anyway, cheers.

From Giving Advice to Doing the Work.

Let me explain the core shift here.

As we have adopted AI and learned to use it, most of us started out treating it as an input-output tool. You ask a question, it gives you an answer. You ask for an image, it gives you an image. Simple and singular.

But what if you could take more complex workflows and streamline the entire thing?

Here is an example. Instead of just "write me an article," imagine writing an article with six or seven images, automatically integrating affiliate links, searching your website to add relevant internal links, and then publishing the whole thing directly to your site. That is a workflow. Multiple connected steps handled for you, versus a single input-output task.

Now, an article can be a workflow too, depending on the complexity of what you are asking. But the point is this... simple "provide me this text" is conventional AI, and that is how a lot of people are still using it. We want to bring you up to speed and give you the tools to take advantage of an agent that goes off and does multiple things for you. That is the direction we are heading with Wealthy Affiliate.

The Feedback From the Blog.

The blog thread from yesterday has been full of great ideas. People want to manage their Pinterest campaigns. People want a feedback loop between their website, their analytics, and their decision making, with something to help them decide how to improve their site and grow their business.

This is exactly what we want to tackle at Wealthy Affiliate. Workflows related to your business, streamlined and made simple. There is a lot of technical complexity involved in making this come alive, and removing that technical burden has always been our focus. We want you free to be creative, build your business, and generate revenue.

If you have not checked out that thread yet, I really encourage you to. It will give you more insight into the concept, and it is a great chance to see what others are requesting and add your own workflow ideas.

You Are Always in the Driver's Seat

One thing I want to be crystal clear on... you are always in control.

You are not going to be blind to what is happening. This is not a case of typing "write an article about topic XYZ," hitting submit, and having it vanish into the void. That is not how it works. The system is constantly offering insights into what it is doing, and there is always a feedback loop where you can polish, refine, and make your workflows better.

You stay in the driver's seat. Always.

A First Look at the New Wealthy Affiliate.

Alright, this is the part I am excited about. We are finally in a state where we can move blazing fast on development.

To get here, we had to rebuild the entire infrastructure of Wealthy Affiliate from scratch. An entirely new code base. If you do not know what that means, it means twenty years of code rebuilt so we have a proper foundation to build off of, and build off of quickly. As we roll out the refreshed WA, you are going to see a completely different environment. One that is far more conducive to us getting your feedback, taking our ideas, and bringing them to life with more speed than ever. Maybe even up to a hundred times faster than in the past.

So let me give you a very early stage sneak peek. Keep in mind this is bare bones, and it is going to evolve fast since we are shipping code throughout the day, every day, on this new platform.

Meet Ace and the Interactive Environment.

Here is the new environment. On the right side you will notice a live chat area and something called Ace. Right now this is dummy content, but we will be using real data as we implement this. We are aiming for end of August.

This is where you control your environment, custom to you. Any task you need done, you can ask for it at any time, across any business in your overall environment. It is deeply interactive.

Let me show you. Say I want to build a new hub. I just ask. It gives feedback and walks me through it.

It asks what niche I want to be in. I will say baseball training. It tells me baseball training is too broad and asks me to narrow it down. So I go with at-home baseball drills. It confirms that is a solid angle with clear problems to solve.

Then it asks who I am trying to reach. Parents of youth players, self-motivated high schoolers, or both? I say both.

Then, how do I want to generate revenue? I choose affiliate sales.

Where will I publish? I select website, YouTube, and Instagram. I could add all channels, but I do not want to overwhelm myself, so I add a few to start. It notes that and enables those channels.

Then it asks about my tone and voice. Encouraging, close, technical, analytical? I say I want to be an encouraging coach. It gets it. And this voice is going to evolve as I build content across all those verticals.

Then it asks if I have content pillars in mind. I decide I want to start with drills for small spaces. It recognizes that as a content pillar and starts architecting my actual business around it.

At any point I can summarize, review, and edit any of those choices before moving forward. Once I create the hub, you can see it architecting everything... my ideas for Facebook, my website, a game plan for YouTube and Instagram, all being built out.

Watching an Article Come to Life.

The next component, which we have already built and I believe released earlier today, lets you interact and get feedback in real time on your actual content.

Say I want to build an article. It creates a draft plan first, and I can give feedback on the architecture of the article itself before it writes a word. Once I am ready, it goes forward and writes it. My target was 1500 words, and you can watch it come to life in real time. The finished article was thorough, came in at 1677 words, so very close to target. The title fits search results, the meta description is written, and I have control over all of those elements. We can streamline and automate all of it.

This is very raw right now. I just wanted to give you a quick early access look. But even seeing this fraction of what is coming, I hope it gets you excited about the direction we are headed.

What This Means for You.

So there you have it. Agents. Mastering workflows through your communication and through your ability to use agentic environments like the new Wealthy Affiliate.

As we move closer to the release date, I am going to be showcasing more aspects of this platform. But I can tell you that by the end of August, I think this is going to blow your mind in terms of how you build businesses in the new world, and how you can take your existing businesses and start rebuilding them using these new age tools and environments here at Wealthy Affiliate.
