Hi everyone,
Could be on my end, but am getting a 503 Error stating: No server is available to handle this request. Any suggestions or comments appreciated.
Thanks
I tried as well with no luck getting it to come up. Wonder if we should put in a Support Ticket?
I think so. I haven't put in a ticket here and not sure where the link is - just looked briefly.
I wanted to let you know where to find the Support Ticket (for the future), on the left hand side menu under Tools & Services, click on Websites & Hosting and at top of page in a blue box it says "Support Ticket" toward the right.
Thank you guys for checking. It's been like this since around 11 am EST. Worked fine before that. Thanks for validating. Have a great evening / day!

I am excited to be this far. I've completed my first site that is an Amazon Affiliate site for emergency preparedness / survival! Would love your thoughts / comments. I have all
Awesome Kate. Has already lots of products, articles and looks wonderful. Job well done I say. Congrats !
That was my hardest part - deciding on the niche, keyword research and domain selection. So you're well on your way. Rest is step by step.
Kate are you sure it's your first website?!!! It is amazing! I think you missed your calling. Great idea.
You make me nervous. How long did it take you to build it ( and please say many many days...)? 90 pages?!!! Wow.
I have one question to you then. It looks to me that you can promote unlimited number of products from Amazon within one website? And it's completely ok to copy all kinds of content and reviews and pics from Amazon? Thanks Kate and good luck with surviving and your new page:)
Thanks for your nice comments. First - yes. A lot of work. In truth, I need to rewrite every description still. I can 'spin' the descriptions with software and may do a little of that short term to differentiate content, but over long haul I want as much unique content without compromising the manufacturer's product. I rewrote a lot of the titles but lots to go. Some are too long and technical for my taste.
This is my first Amazon site and I may scale back on products. But In each category I wanted to offer the best. The plugin feature for "Comparisons" is pretty cool.
I'm no expert at WordPress believe me. I do have a lot of experience in Internet Marketing and using Joomla to develop a few sites. My main challenge with wordpress has always been clarifying Pages vs. Posts for Menu items - and customizing stuff that isn't doing what you want. I know a tiny bit of CSS, not much.
Keep in mind that I used a Premium Theme that is specifically for Amazon and eBay Affiliates. So it does a lot of the hard work. However, I've spent a few weeks tinkering to get a Blog section to work properly. Problem with some Themes is when they don't provide that one thing you really need but didn't think of first! So right now my blog posts are under 'Articles' which isn't what I want. This is where I need help from an experienced programmer type for suggestions.
To be honest, growing Pinterest boards and Followers, Facebook posts and Fans, and Twitter followers has taken me equally as much time as the site itself.
I waited to post on WA until I felt proud of what's so far - not enough fans and followers yet, and Twitter base needs to spread out to more paying customers and less of other Preppers. All of it - is step by step. And I'm worried that experienced folk might balk at the amount of products. Kinda wish I'd had just done an Amazon store - but maybe later once I get going. I'm open to ANY suggestions - and thanks a million for your feedback! Kate
Wow! That is a very professional layout. I can see how someone could spend quite some time surfing the site. It made me want to go camping. lol
I know, right? I'm amazed at all the cool products that exist out there now. Have learned a ton while developing. I've always had to be prepared for power outages with my home; hence, my article on Prepaing Your Generator. If you want to laugh at how I failed miserably at my own preparation, read that! I love outdoors too. Visit again if you want! Pass along! Sign up for giveaways (doing one each month through year end as a trial. Survival products). Thanks!
Great site...did you start out a newbie & learn everything from WA, or did you come in with some experience? I just joined a couple days ago..I created my site last night to the point of activating plug-ins. Hopefully by this time next week I have it up and running. It's going to be called The Artisan Jewelry Shoppe. Again...love your site! Sue
I'd love to see your Artisan Jewelry Shoppe! Do you make your own or are you going to do affiliates? Amazon? or are you using a Shop theme with cart, etc.? Sounds like you're moving fast. Curious to the theme and/or plugins you decided upon and would love to know your products! . To me, that can be so overwhelming with so many choices. I did post some comments above about what went into this one. Pinterest is perfect for jewelry! If you haven't poked around there yet, you could actually start your boards while your in development and Pin other interesting things and cool ideas related to your niche. I've got quite a few boards and I'm actually as proud of my Pinterest account as the website itself because it took a ton of time and thought. Slow to grow but so fun. Visit it for ideas if you want! mine is http://pinterest.com/survivalgadgets.
