I have started my new blog for 5 months , yet I haven't made any sales.

I work harder this month. 2 articles every week..

Although I notice a few organic traffic and 1 person clicked my article on google, the ranking is still very low. I tried to create pins on pinterest three times a week. But only a few people clicked my website.

I have only 18 articles in my blog. At the beginning I didn't update frequently.

I feel quite frustrated as there is not much significant progress.

People said I should at least try for half a year. Should I give up now?

Or which aspects should I take note of?

That has happened to most of us. Don't give up now. Have you had others check your website on the 'website feedback thread'? 18 articles is not a lot, maybe concentrate on another 10 for now.
Also, are you using any social media outlets? Pinterest is currently sending 800 people a month to my website. Jim

Yes, I am using pinterest as well. But only a few people go to my website each month.
How often do you use pinterest? HOw many pins do you make every day?

Yes, I have had others check my website.

Yes, I know the feeling. Some of us have not made sales yet either, but we need to aim for the future and keep working on in the present.

Work on adding more posts, improve quality of your content and website, learn and try new things, ask the community for assistance, wait for traffic to come to your site.

SO NO!!! Don't give in, don't give up. Just keep yourself motivated, keep working on the website, and then you will make your sales.

Wish you the best!

When you ask yourself should I give up , it means you had forgotten the reason why you got started here in the beginning.

If your WHY is bigger than the lack of result for the moment, you probably will stay on.

The reason why so many people give up is because they do not do it long enough to see the results. ( or they want instant results )

You can sharpen your edge by studying the reasons why the website is not generating sales yet or just find some mentors who are already generating sales for help.

If others can do it, why can't you?

Wishing you always well .

Love,
Cindy

I think you should using goolge ads to boost your blog, may useful for you! good luck

Check your keywords and see how they are ranking in searches, you may need to update the keywords in your articles How about writing an article on how you got into that niche and relate it to your personal life, perhaps growing up as a child.

Just some suggestions...

I'm worried that this will happen to me too, but I think everyone else is right - don't give up :) I've heard other people's stories where they have nothing happen at all for a year and then all of a sudden, it takes off all at once and they start to rake in the money. I think it's all about persistence, so keep those posts coming and definitely read through the training and tutorials here - as others have said, there are lots of mentors in WA to take advantage of, so learn from someone who has already done it. Good luck, and don't give up :)

I must admit I am petrified to see what will happen when I finally finish my website but one thing I know for sure, DO NOT GIVE UP! I know this is not the best news for you but keep on working at it and reach out for some help. Get other peoples opinions and ideas. This is why WA is the best because you have all the knowledge and support right in front of you. Hang in there and you are bound to be successful as long as you don't give up!

Hello how are you. NO DO NOT GIVE UP!!! There are a few reasons why people are not successful in general. They give up too quickly and they do not have a Mentor that has been there before.

You have mentors here. Great job using them!!! I have been there.

I have been here for 3 years now. I have a few sales. I have a website with 30 Organics a day and going higher! Now I am just working on converting those visitors as I rise higher!!! I am also getting more clicks on my Affiliate links and my sales are up over the last month.

So great progress. Now I did it the HARD WAY. Life got in the way and I was not as diligent as you on ONE SITE. I have about 30 sites across platforms including WA.

WRONG WAY . Stick to just one site. You see how hard it is already. That was my mistake. Why I have not been successful before now. That is the only reason why I mentioned that.

But with ONE SITE I have heard the MEGA successful here at WA say that it took them a year of Becoming Better Writers and cranking out Quality and Quantity in order to start getting sales. Then it was like an Avalanche.

This is the the thing. A Website is like a Stock. Hold it. Even if you slow down and say I am spending too much time without reward. Hold it while doing at least a little. Until that Eureka moment comes. Do not invest too much in your business. Until you become profitable.

I only say that because you do not want money to be a reason that you quit. But lets put that Q word away!!!

Whatever you are doing right. Be more aggressive. That is what I did. Instead of giving up. I went harder and I got smarter. You can do it too! It will work. Because we learn about the Fundamentals of what really works here.

AND I am confident that you have what it takes. Once you learn the fundamentals you can adapt it to what you really want to do. Even do things that are outside of the box. Experiment etc.

So keep it fun and be you. Keep on plugging. It will come! Many blessings to you

I read a note by Kyle that said you need to have at least 50 posts and wait 6 months. You may have waited 6 months but you only have about a third of the posts that are required. Also, the posts must be keyword targeted so that they are able to rank and receive traffic.

Read
Littlemama's story on her WA blog and you will find that she made her first sale a year later. Because she did not give up, she's now our super affiliate. So never give up.
