This has happened to me, as well... that's when I discovered that I didn't put the article into the Menu.
Check and see if that's the issue.
Hope this helps!

How did you find that out? The other weird thing is that it is showing that it has already been indexed and I literally just published it. Actually I think I now know what happened. UGH! My screw up. I used an article I previously wrote as a template and that is probably what is wrong.
It happens LOL... it took me hours to figure out what I did wrong...
Then it was glaringly obvious at the last minute...

How to get the word category out of your page title and keep your articles on separate pages

So I have two pages I would like to have my articles listed separately on. I have my Blog page and then I have a page called Product Reviews where I would like for all of my pr
Kristena - I think what you need is a static home page instead of the default blog roll (you need to create a NEW page for this).
Once you have that set up, it will be easy for you to organize your other pages, posts and categories.

I got that all fixed up. Thank you so much for the help. Now I just have to figure out how to get rid of the word category in my page titles.
Kristena, You do this from your menu in your dashboard. Go to your dashboard. Scroll down to appearance>> menus. On the left-hand side is all your pages and posts. Select the one that goes to your blog, for example, and it will appear on the righthand side inside your menu. To place it in a submenu, like reviews, Drag your page under reviews. If you drag it slightly right, it will be indented under reviews. This will place it under the reviews tab in your navigation menu on your home page.
Good question. If you need further assistance because of my crude explanation, message me and I'll try to do a better explanation. I hope this helps.

Your homepage is your blog page too. So, when you publish a new post it appears on the homepage and the blog.
You can remove the blog from the main menu or use a static page for your homepage.
I already have the static page set up. I have it set up where Homepage is not listed as anything and posts page is set up as Blog.
Yes, but you must choose another page to replace the blog. Or you can create a new one. The homepage cannot be black.
