Whats going on? I wonder what I'm doing wrong with my websites :
Hi friends,
Ok so I was on twitter and chatting with someone and said I realized it could take a year ( speaking for myself ) and then he said if it takes a year then I'm doing something wrong! He said 2-3 months & I haven't even made a single thing, he has me thinking twice, I mean am I wrong? I may be doing something that's not working, not sure. I've been getting out into the social media and things, I guess you can say I'm stuck!
Sorry for the long post but, this has me wondering. Yes, I followed the training, there is no way I could do it without it! I'll see how things go, if I don't start seeing progress, then I can't afford to keep going. I know I said I would not give up, however I can't afford to lose money either.
Have a good rest of the night friends,
Krissy

One way to make fast money online is to write great reviews on some hot affiliate products ( high end) and put Ads to drive traffic continually to the site.
Yeah, I am finding some cool things that I like on clickbank! I have product reviews on my inline skate site and my website promoting WA and those are the pages that most of my clicks are from, according to google analytics. I also see some incorporating products into a blog post too so I could try that too, kind of put a twist on things.
One of the most common mistakes in this life is to try and emanate others, your journey is unique to you
Your success will come when its the right time for you
So often the phrase copy and paste your way to success is used online, we can not copy and paste somebody useless time scales or agendas
Barry
So true, I would rather make my own and have my websites in my own way like I do now than to copy and paste content. Besides, I want to do the work myself! More rewarding when I do my own work!
Its all about the communication and affiliates that you can get for income to. BeauAndNik is right, when you find the right niche out of a few sites, boom, it takes off like a bat out of hell.
Keep going forward and research what your people are looking for in your niche
making money in the first 2 - 3 months is possible but not common.
there are too many variables to consider and pin point what you are doing wrong.. without taking a look at your sites its a mystery :)
on that note, if you do make money in the first 3 months its not necessarily short term as stevecox states.
I launched a site in January this year. By march it was generating 3k per month. At the moment its just above 5k and looks to take a massive leap soon.
I'm not doing any magical dance or voodoo lol but I was able to pinpoint the opportunity and i knew there was a market for it.
Now this site is as long term as you can get and will keep generating income.
I worked 20 hours a week on it, and now im sitting around 10 hours weekly to grow it.
Of course there are exceptions to the rule, but you just got to keep plugging away at it.
The reality is that not every site will be successful. I have had 15+ sites bomb out with no return.
If a site isn't paying its rent by 1 year then I seriously start to research in to why this is.
I always build at least 3 projects at any one time. normally 5. This way if one hits im happy.. if all 5 hit (and this has happened), im ecstatic.
Hey thank you!
So many factors is right! Doing what I love and have a passion for it ( inline skating ) which the sport has taken a decline and that doesn't help but I'm going to give it more time! I would like to do a website about cycling too, but I don't know enough about it. Now that I am laid up I can be on my websites more! My other website is promoting WA and that was just out April 15th! I had been stuck ( writers block ) for a while but now I have some idea's generating and I just need them to convert. My post I made yesterday on my promoting WA, was indexed at position 8 on page 1 so I'm pleased with that. I need to build traffic first. So I've been on social media working on it so now I need to spend more time with my websites! I love WA and no way could I have done any of this without it! Love the community! :)
Kind Regards,
Krissy
You will get there but if someone else is making a living at month 2-3 then they are either working 24/7 or have been lucky! :)
Yeah, it's crazy! I'm loving all of the learning! I just hope it will pay off! Aww man 2-3 months!
I agree with Jude 100%.
ALL repeat ALL of the qualified subject matter experts I read about, listen to, or follow (not just here but on on other sites) use a year as a benchmark. It takes time to build trust and credibility, and that simply cannot be done in three months.
If someone is making money in two to three months, then it is not long term passive income and will not last in my opinion. I never viewed WA as a source of "instant money". There are hundreds of sites out there making this promise and the reviews on these sites are...........well to be politically correct......not honorable!
I am out of work for the first time in fifty years. I "plan" to take some non-career job which will give me time to focus on working on my passion which is writing. I purchased two more domain names last night on Kyle's "fire sale" and I may buy more tonight. Some of them will work, some will not. But since they are renewed (or not) on a yearly basis I believe it is worth the cost of coffee at Starbucks to give this an HONEST try.
My plan may not work for everyone, and perhaps there are those out there who become an instant money machine. But my MUCH deeper purpose in joining WA is to change my lifestyle (i.e. to love what I do) not to change my bank account. To be honest, the WA price of membership is worth a LOT to me because of the friends I have made and what I have learned.
That is my 2 cents worth anyway.
Happy Hump Day to all !!
Steve
Thanks, friends,
I always like to get perspective on things like this, I'm still learning and I don't know what's good as far as when you make your first dollar and income! I honestly don't want to give up, at all! For many reasons and a couple of those are, I would feel 100x worse than ever, secondly, I promised myself to get out of my comfort zone!
Cheers,
Krissy :)
And Krissy you ARE getting out of your comfort zone. Based on what we all have heard about you on WA, you do not give up easily but, like the rests of us you have periods of doubt and a few "what the hell am I doing" days.
The severe injury you suffered has not helped I know. So give yourself some time PLEASE. You are an excellent "communicator", and your sincerity comes thru 100% in your writing. Not every niche' choice or selection is a first time out of the chocks winner.
To be frank, I am not sure I have found mine yet. But I am going to keep on truckin!
Stay well my friend!
Steve
Thanks my friend!
Yes you are totally right! I guess I'm just more sensitive these past few day's because of the accident and it drives me crazy but this to shall pass!! I'm a lucky gal to have all of you!! :) I got done with surgery this morning and I was so sleepy, lol! The only thing that is bugging me now is a sore throat from the breathing tube they put in during surgery, I'm not in any more pain which is awesome!
I appreciate all of you! Thank you and I'll be around a lot too!
Krissy :)
