End of Week 1

Hello WA fam! Me again.

Well, it's been a very strange week for me. I started this "blogging lark" as I was looking for a way to earn a living after losing my job back in Jan. Work in my field is rather hard to come by and ever since this Corona madness happened (this wont be mentioned again), less and less job advertisements are being posted on the job sites.

It is understandable but what can we do? Nothing? I wasn't satisfied with waiting for an employer to offer me something and who knows how long it will be until normal companies are back to full capacity and are in the stages when they can hire again? A year maybe? Nobody has a clue.

Working for myself has always been a dream of mine and after looking and researching many topics of online marketing and Amazon FBA etc, I figured that a blog will take just as much time to start seeing sales, just as much time investment and possibly less upfront cash to get started. We will see about that! There is NO INCOME at the moment so this is something that absolutely MUST work out.

I started with the free version and soon realized that I need the training and support. There is never built a website in my life let alone try to find a niche. Uncharted territory for sure.

As I complete phase 2, There is learned new skills that I never thought I would. I'm very grateful for that.

There is also been fortunate enough to have been in contact with a few members on here as well as the support posts people have posted. It's nice to feel like part of the WA family.

I've never been a writer as such. Report writing yes, but this is completely different, report writing isn't like writing as if you are directly talking to someone. It's difficult but hopefully I am getting better at this.

My First Niche.

There is many interests but my main ones are reef aquariums, Snakes and fitness, although I know a lot about fitness, I certainly don't practice too much of it. It's all research from interest.

My new site is about fish and reptile keeping, I has a big passion for this but alas, I think that finding affiliates for this will be very difficult. Please, if anyone knows of any, especially in the UK and US, I would be so grateful.

There is been writing articles about the reef aquarium niche but they take me so long to write. I'm not the fastest on the keyboard. I'd love a speech to text style thing, that would save me time I reckon.

I hope to have some good content on my site and hopefully some amount of visitors.

I would like to run another website of my own too or I may start the WA affiliate programe. Why not?

6 Months ahead

It would be perfect if I could generate enough money to start living again as There is been without an income for 4.5 months now which is putting a huge strain on me and my family.

Anyway, gotta go. I've got content to research and write.
