Newbie here, just trying to get the lay of the land. If I create a premium (non-SiteRubix) site and later choose to migrate it to another hosting company, how would I go about

There is no need for software it can be done by a simple import and export

Unless WordPress has significantly changed the way its import and export tools function in the last couple years, it has not been my experience that the built-in import/export tools have rendered complete backups of entire websites, including all media, files, styles, and theme assets.

It's my understanding that the import/export tools only include basic content (pages, posts, etc.).

I do it all the time - I have cloning software but no need its a straight import export

Not to get into a pissing contest, but the import/export tools built in to WordPress to transfer the entire, as-is website. The export tool is generally limited to posts, pages, comments, custom fields, terms, navigation menus, custom posts, etc.

Theme assets, plugins, style sheets, etc. are not included.

So migrate them as well its not hard

Thanks Kats, mind sharing the software you use and have you used it specifically cloning WA sites to non-WA sites?

I Use backup buddy but I can tell you exactly how to do it for free if you want to know

There are sever options. The easiest would be paid options like Backup Buddy. They can be pricey, but they make it easier.

Manually transferring it can take some work....and some know-how, but it can be done for free as well.

Do you need specific direction now, or are you just curious if it can be done?

I'd like to know how to do it in WA specifically for now as I don't see where I can access the file manager from within WA. In the past (for non-WA sites) I'll usually just use Fiverr to have someone move it all for me. But not sure this would work with WA.

Cool - I should be able to be of some help when I get off work.

Super thanks!
