My Motivation And How It Has Changed

The picture above has been my motivation for a long time. I used to have it on my phone wallpaper. I would look at this place, wanted to have my own business, and make a lot of money!

Even though I know the rules of making money, and how t

o be in the top percentage of money makers, it has eluded me.

I get really excited, and really motivated for 2.3 seconds, then the boredom sets in. Even with the beautiful scene above for my motivation, it is not enough. I have what it takes, but not all at the same time.

I can have a vision, act on it, put everything in place, then lose motivation, no matter how long I look at that picture.

My husband and I have run the gambit of self employment. For the last 15 years, we have tried so many times to be successful. A gold party business, and a custom jewelry company, both direct marketing. We had our own eBay and Amazon stores, lost money, a lot.

I have been in the healthcare field for about 30 years now. I love being a nurse and a phlebotomist so much, I started my own mobile phlebotomy business. Even though I get about 3-4 clients a week, it isn't worth the effort.

I was getting hopeless that I will have raised my kids and have hardly any retirement. We have had to use a lot of our retirement and savings because of COVID. While we aren't poor, we still need to replace that part of our nest egg.

I was online and somehow read about affiliate marketing. I never knew that at the bottom of websites, where it says affiliates had anything to do with me. I started doing some research and realized that I did not know near enough to just join any affiliate program. Then I saw Wealthy Affiliate.

I am a cynic, to the core, when it comes to joining a program to learn about becoming wealthy, just by writing about the things I enjoy. I have be

en there on the other side.

I decided to try it, I was drawn in by the way the payment structure is set-up. It was $19 for the month, and if I wasn't happy I could quit, that easy.

When In started the classes on the first day, I realized that this was not what I expected. I kept waiting for the bottom to drop out, where was the catch?

It has been almost 2 weeks, I am learning things that I could never learn on my own! I would have never stuck to this if I had to learn all of this by myself, where would I start?

I now see a light at the end of the tunnel, I now know this is 100% possible! Wealthy Affiliate put the spunk back in me to start doing something that I love and make money!

I literally thought that this was not possible!

Thank you to all of you, everyone has been helpful in some way! My hope has been restored. I know I have ways to go, but I am more motivated than ever looking at that picture above. I think I need a new motivation, I need to reach much higher, and extend my dream circle a bunch!
