It will happen, but domain transfers take 7-10 days. It has definitely be initiated though if you have paid for it, and you will see it within your account and fully transferred here at WA.
If you do have any issues though beyond that, let us know.
Hey all - trying to validate a plug-in key and getting "cURL error 7: couldn't connect to host". Any ideas why? I searched Internet and found that maybe WA is blocking?
Did you find out what your problem was? I am getting the same message when trying to install a license key for a plug in.
I contacted support and they needed to allow something. They will do that if it is an 'allowed' plugin (apparently there are some that are not)

Curl error 7: couldn't connect to host error?

I am transferring an existing website and it's domain name to Wealthy Affiliate. They are currently using G Suite to host their email using their domain. Part
Site support will do this. Make sure they add the SPF record. They didn’t on one of my sites a few weeks ago and some emails were bouncing.
Contact Site Support with the info. They are the only ones that can edit the DNS records at WA.
