A couple days ago I was having problem logging into my dashboard and content builder. Sent in support tickets to Wa and thrive where I bought the content builder. Everything se
All fixed. I'll leave this up in case anyone else runs into this. Some of the solutions are stated by Marion below. Others I found through WordPress help and support tickets. Please feel welcome to contact me for other steps I took to remedy this problem. All the solutions are already available here at WA and on WordPress, so I'm not inclined to write up any training on this as there are much more knowledgeable people out there.
Thanks all.
Kirk.
Hi, I have tried to log on to your site http://hi.wsdata.co/2016-04-18/ and all I am getting is a 404 error code. Irv.
Hi Ivine. That was a redirect prefix someone attached to my domain. Problem has been fixed. Thanks for looking in.
Kirk.
I just got your site's URL off your profile page http://corridorpaintandplaster.com and it takes me to a facebook page instead of your website.
But http://corridorpaintandplaster.com/wp-admin takes me to your login page so you should be able to get in.
So let's try and fix this.
1) Virus scan of your own computer. If you've been hacked then you may have transferred the bug to your website.
2) Deactivate all plugins. If that fixes the problem then activate them one at a time until you find out which one is causing the issue.
3) Change to a generic theme like Twenty Sixteen or Twenty Fifteen. If the malicious script is in your theme then delete your preferred theme and reinstall it as if it was for the first time.
Do let us all know how this is going for you.
Thanks Marion. I just got in from work and am going through this. It's for another site that I've been working on but haven't made public yet.
Have you gotten any more info from support? I wonder if Kyle has seen this before. I haven't ever seen this. Frightening this could happen to a WA site. Please keep us updated.
Oh no - that is terrible. I wish I could help but I am not sure what the problem is. The only thing I am wondering is if you have adsense on your blog because I don't trust outside advertising. Also - I would run virus scans and spyware scans. I would say back-up but you may be backing up the problem.
when I click you link above gives me 404 cannot be found, have not seen this before, see if this can be of any help to you

Site hijacked? what to do about it?
A couple days ago I was having problem logging into my dashboard and content builder. Sent in support tickets to Wa and thrive where I bought the content builder. Everything se
I have a problem now too! I created a freebie site on Site Rubix, and put in affiliate links, etc. about a week or so ago. I went to work on it again just now. Since I log in thru WA, I clicked the Site Rubix tab, and go to my site manager page. Ok, there's my site - WITH SOMEONE ELSE'S PICTURE AS THE ADMIN! WHAT??? I immediately hit the reset password button and try to log in. It goes to the log-in page and gives me an error and a warning "did you forget your password?" WHAT???? ...Ok, retry... same thing. So, now, I fire off a support ticket. What in the world is going on??? I even have the culprit's picture!!! What is going on here??? Did I miss some sort of notice to WA members about being hijacked???
You know that WA controls the passwords and sometimes they do go in to check on stuff. Maybe there was a mixup. Simply reset the passwords and move on . You migh query them for a response
I did reset the pw - twice, as mentioned above. it would not allow me in at first - as though someone had changed my password and had me blocked out.
Now, I just became able to log in. And, now, I want to know who's picture this is, and why he's on my Site Manager log-in page. I want to know whether this person logged into my site, why he's there, what was he doing, and what is going on with WA.
I have submitted it to "support," and they gave me a short glib "don't believe you" response. So, being quite used to "support" not believing me, unfortunately, I sent them a screenshot. This is really not funny, nor should it be easily dismissed. All members should follow this "issue." No-one should be nosing around my sites, my info, or whatever else that is easily accessed by the "hosting" provider. So, yes, I am requesting an answer, and I'll share as soon as I receive one.
Ok, here's the outcome and status update: According to support, my new SiteRubix site had the same name as someone else who used that name previously. Even though he had deleted the site about a year ago, apparently, there was old data associated with this domain name - along with his picture. So, in short, the creepy guy is gone and hopefully won't be back. - Therefore, my concerns have been relieved and all is well in the land of WA. Carry on!

I've gone through all the training and past questions regarding thrive on here. I've tried uploading the zip file as well as unzipped files through two separate FTP servers. Ac
Ok...Almost there. Have TCB uploaded. Now I'm going to work on something different because the license key won't activate and the folks in Germany are fast asleep (or should be). Patience :)
Try this training by Lady May Kirk. How to use FTP to upload themes and plugins the easy way If that doesn't work for you come on back and let us know. I'm sure one of us can help.
Tom
Thanks Tom. Did all that. It seems to be working now. Had to go into settings under active and force upload. I guess I'll know in a few minutes. It's a big file.
