Life After Vacation
I'm feeling slightly adrift and trying to tow myself in from languid waters. I was really getting into a groove with creating posts for my website and all the details it takes to learn how to create a website! Then I went on vacation!
Of course, I also signed up for the 30 in 30 challenge with Street Articles. I love the idea of the challenge, the becoming a better writer through the practice and guidance from Kyle & Carson, and trying out topics other than my particular niche.
What I discovered about vacation, you really don't have as much 'free' time as you think you will. I think my husband and I may have been more exhausted from our vacation than our every day lives. We were, of course, entertaining and chasing around a very energetic 22 month old, in Cabo San Lucas, which is not exactly a mecca of toddler activities!
Now we are back, the baby has a cold, and I am working on getting myself back into the groove with articles for Street Articles and my website! It's become a baby to me as well and I missed the writing, the research, the self discovery.
I had no idea what rabbit hole I was tumbling down when WA came into my life, but so far, I'm truly enjoying the ride.

I have a friend whose mom used to come back from 2 weeks away visiting her children and grandchildren and say she needed a vacation :)

I am sure you will soon get back into the swing of things and It's great you had a fun and enjoyable holiday. I found it harder to work on my website and writing last week as my children were off school for half term. I always have my 26 month old with me though so I try and work mostly at night when she has gone to bed.
