Progress at Wealthy Affiliates
I seem to be making more progress as I go through the training program. I'm currently in Certification course 4 lesson 7. Having a hard time being patient and getting through all the lessons. It seems like every time I want to jump ahead to get it over with I'm forced to learn something new. The only REAL problem I'm having is getting answers to what should be simple questions.
Being a complete rookie at Web design is a royal pain. Things that others take for granted, I struggle with. I seem to spend a lot of time on Google searches to find out what the simplest terminology means. Navigation through Wordpress is getting easier, but I still don't know how to do a lot of things I want to do with my site. I continually try things I guess will give me what I want and then have to go back and undo them because they didn't work. It could be that that is part of the process. I'm too new to know for sure.
Even through my struggles I'd recommend Wealthy Affiliates for anyone wanting a start in affiliate marketing. As for me I'm going to continue the fight, with the idea in mind that without effort and some failure there is no success.

I started using one of the free SiteRubix websites as a test platform to try out different themes, layouts, plugins, etc. That way if I break it, it is not a big deal. I just copy some text to posts and pages, mark them as no index or follow. And then start trying different things.
I am a "hands on" learner. I learn better this way than watching videos or reading text.
Using one of the free sitetrubix sites as a test board is a great idea. It's something I might try. It will probably save me some time, and for sure some effort. Thanks a miollion for the idea.
