I absolutely love the Websites Site Builder and Site Manager here.
Site Builder is so simple to use to create a website. It literally takes 30 seconds to set up a brand new website here.
Other hosting providers have way more complicated processes. You waste a lot of time figuring out how to set up your website because the dashboard presents you with too many options that don't make sense to you as newbie.
Site Manager makes it just as simple to manage your websites.
You can easily login into your different affiliate websites with a click of a button. No need to remember your login or passwords for each site.
You can also quickly view important website information such as site health, how much content your site has, what version of Wordpress it's on so you know if you need to upgrade or not, etc.
Other hosting providers put you in a C-Panel dashboard with tons of options. Most of which you do not need to use on a day-to-day basis. These options only complicate the process for you in the beginning, especially when you've never used C-Panel before.

Wealthy Affiliate Black Friday 2022
If you really want to make this affiliate marketing thing work, consider taking advantage of the Black Friday offer this year (while you can)!
This is going to be last year that you can get the same price I've been paying for the past 5 years.
Costs are going up after this year, for Wealthy Affiliate membership plans. Both Premium and Premium Plus plans.
For most of us WA'ers, we all took advantage of the Black Friday offer years ago.
The WA Black Friday special is the cheapest way to buy Wealthy Affiliate and will save you the most money.
Ultimately it's your choice. But it was a great choice for me back in 2017.

Glad to hear you haven't given up! There will be times when life gets in the way, but don't give up on your dreams of what brought you here in the first place. It takes work but fortunately, we live in a time where we can make it happen over time and with persistence!
Love the summary of your 5 why´s to still be here at the WA platform, Kim. I have been on other platforms as well (more than one) but I am staying with WA.
To name some of my reasons for staying; the ease of use as you point out is one of them, as the low cost to get access to good training, great hosting service for your business and an awesome community in addition to direct contact with the Founders/CEO´s of WA as well as the WA coaches every day in the chat.
You don´t get that many other places for the price of a WA membership.

I agree with 5 of your reasons why you love this platform. I am sure the consensus is the same, especially for people who have been on this platform for a long time.
The courses here, both OEC and Affiliate Bootcamp, are simple and easy to follow. At the same time, other affiliate competitors focus more on paid ads, scaling up, and promoting high ticket sales that are hard to sell during these difficult economic times.
