Do we have to be concerned?
Today the U.S, the FCC, has ended Net Neutrality.
What will this mean for us as Canadians and Online Marketer?
First, what does mean Net Neutrality?
Here is an explanation from the Internet what Net Neutrality means:
"Net neutrality is the principle that Internet service providers and governments regulating the Internet must treat all data on the Internet the same, and not discriminate or charge deferentially by user, content, website, platform, application, type of attached equipment, or method of communication."
Sorry that ship has sailed :(((
Lots of questions are running through my head right now what is your thought on this issue?

Net neutrality is a complicated subject. Basically the companies that provide the backbone of the internet can do anything they want. Big companies can pay for the fast road. We will be stuck on the slow road. We will just have to wait to see what happens.
That's real scary if you think about it. In the long run where will this end up for every internet user? Not sure if I like, at this moment, to think too deep what this all will mean.
Hi Sylvia,
The information we get through the media channels may or may not be accurate. So based on what little I know, owners of small website may have to pay more for faster speeds. Time will only tell what the "Big Boys" will do as far as manipulating the internet.
We could hope that Congress will step in, HA HA. If you believe that I got a bridge in Brooklyn that I could sell you.
Thanks for the sounding board, Sylvia.

Hi Sylvia,
Mario just mentioned that WA host on Amazon so we really shouldn’t be too concerned with this ruling.
