So Far So Good
Hi guys,
I'm a newbie on this and been really getting into it in the last few days. I must say so far so good as i have learnt a lot and seen potential to make money which is the main reason why most of us are here.
I understand it will take time and effort but that is what makes this more realistic and believable compared to all the other programs on the net. Nothing comes easy and requires effort to be successful which is what WA is all about. I like the 'real' factor.
My first niche i chose was 'cool gifts for kids' as i have 2 kids myself and i have ran out of ideas of what toys and presents to buy them, it is always the same old stuff so i decided to create a site that allows parents to choose 'cool' presents and something different for their kids. I will do research on different toy stores like Amazon, Toys R Us and join their affiliate program and recommend toys only with good reviews. Saves parents doing all the research etc.
What do yous think? good idea?
However i made a crucial mistake with the domain as i purchased 'www.coolgiftsforkid.com instead of www.coolgiftsforkids.com, the latter was already bought, doh!!!. I really hope that does not affect my SEO too much.
Also when i checked on Jaaxy as recommended those keywords were ideal to use and not much competition, however when i type into Google and look at the trends it seems to have millions of searches for 'cool gifts for kids' and 'cool gifts for boys' etc. Is it even possible to come on the first page? if not then i feel that it makes this website pointless as nobody will find it. Main aim is to get on the first page with "low hanging fruit" keywords.
Any advice on this? Would be appreciated.
Anyways my plan is to try WA and give it my best shot, il see what kind of response and feedback i get with my sites online and take it from there.
Yous guys have a new friend in me and i hope to make plenty new friends within the community, we will help each other strive towards our goals and make sure this time and money invested in this is worthwhile! Otherwise it will be no different to the rest.

Yes, your niche is a very important one! I am speaking as a grandmother. I never know what to buy for my grandchildren. I have looked on line for exactly what you are going to create. There are Moms, Dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friend of families who could all benefit form a great site that showcases age appropriate toys for children.
