Add This And Add That ... And Go Batty!!
I have decided to take a pause from adding content to my site and set up (as suggested in Cert Part 2) a few accounts with article sites. UG!!!
Please Fill In Your Profile -
Ok, I got that part down pat. Oh, wait ... don't forget to add the contact for your G+, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and so on ...........
Oh yes, and make sure you remember to add your PayPal link to this site and your Google Analytics number to this site and add ... etc.
Google Ana...wha?
Something I can offer - in advance ... Make Templates! When you set up Google Analytics, you get a code to add to all of the pages in your site and all of its sub-domains pages and posts that you want tracked. What if you have 30 pages in 3 sites/sub-sites set that you want tracked? You go back and add the code to every single page ~sigh~
Templates for what?
I have gotten to where I use the save images for my Question and Comments area per page/post, and about the same format for my reviews. So I made 2 draft pages (with the Ana code in it already) ... one for just the Q/C area and one for the reviews with Q/C.
I admit, I'm at times over organized. Another thing that has me on a slower day track today - making a new spreadsheet just for tracking the social sites (addresses and login info for faster reference), my personal Affiliate programs, new Article sites and now all of these "add this tracking site" stuff.
Blah!!
Talk about a mental overload ... but, at least once it's all done the pages can once again flow. Maybe even a few articles that lead back to my sites pages that can turn into something positive for traffic. It's a good way to have your affiliate links and pages URL's at easy access too.
Hopefully you have not already hit that point where you have to go back and edit 99% of your pages just for a small little code, and that this might be helpful before you do get there.
Pondering ...
You know, knowing my luck there is a plug-in for that ... time for research ~sighs again~ And, I shoulda looked at the only 1 plug-in i had not already activated ... ah well, at least I know how to do it manually too ~smiles~

Yup. Done that....
Still wondering what I missed.
I am going to have to take a few classes over again.
I've done that a few times as well. I have certain sections of training bookmarked to go back for the umpteenth time ~smiles~
You know, when I started one for my mom to content out on I sort of cheated. I opened my dashboard for my main site, and the one for hers in 2 windows and just copied over the things I had on the main one so she didn't miss out on something important ... Maybe that could help you ~smiles~
Kham, sounds like you got the organization down and the time element is a virtual one even when you have all the right plugins. Thank you, very helpful to check off for all of us. Am sure you will be successful as you have shown so far!
Thank you for that encouragement ~smiles~ I've been feeling a bit overwhelmed today with setting up this and that ... it's what prompted the new spreadsheet for more organization. Seems I focus better when it's all perdy and such
Yes, we all have our ways to become less overwhelmed. I cook. Made the best banana nut bread today...then had something to do and read at the same time.
Oh my brother would have taken your whole baking efforts and run! (It's his favorite - and what he gets as a Bday cake every year). I was thinking of making a treat today myself while the house is calm and quiet. A pumpkin roll has been calling my baking talents as it's been years and hubby got it stuck in my "i want it for myself" section of my mind ~sigh~ Silly man challenged a bakers daughter and said I couldn't make it.

I agree with you Kham! I also have templates and do notes for the most interesting think I read.
Makes things so much easier some days ~smiles~
