Juice Fast to Start the Healthy New Year off!
I joined WA in October and I now focus all my time and energy on learning and making my website the best it can be.
To balance that out I am very much into health, running, swimming and gym. Living alongside the beach in beautiful Queensland Australia helps!
Blogging can be hard work stuck behind the laptop for hours on end.
Here is a pic of my office from 6am to 7am most mornings :)
Sorry I don't mean to brag! But It is a lovely place :)
Part of my health regime is to do a 7 day juice fast at the start of each year and at the start of each new season.
I will be starting one on Monday January 2nd. It is not just a 7 day fast, you can also do a 1 day fast if you have never done one before, a 3 day, 5 day or the 7 day.
Fasting is basically a detox and cleanse for your body. It helps you rest your digestive system and the the nutrients go straight into the blood stream helping your body restore, regenerate and heal.
I used juice fasting as one of the protocols to help heal my prostate cancer so I know this stuff works.
If you are interested I will leave my facebook group link at the bottom of this blog. Not here to gain members to the group but I know a lot of WA members are into their health and this would be a great thing to do to start the year.
If you have never fasted before you can try a one day fast to begin.
Wishing all a very Merry Christmas and an extra healthy and safe New Year :)

PS: This is not a business or promotions FB Group simply a group where I encourage health with juicing and good whole foods. Not here to promote anything but health. All I want to do with this post is to share the healing power of fasting with as many people as I can.
Cheers, guys,
Kev

Love this, Kev! I did a 15-day juice fast some time back and, with all the bad eating that I've been doing lately, I desperately need to do another one.
What juicer would you recommend?
Steve there are many on the market now. I use an Oscar Neo DA 1000 but I'm in the market for a Kuvvings. They are at the top end of the juice market but any cold pressed juicer is good.
Most people don't know the difference between juicing and blending so I'm impressed buddy haha!
I had a Biochef Cold Pressed juicer but it's not all that great for stringy, leafy vegetables, such as kale.
Yes mate some of them are cheap and nasty thats why I am saving up for the Kuvvings. The Oscar is great but lots of prep time. The Kuvvings you just chuck the produce in without having to cut up :)
Great stuff Kev. Excellent way to start the New Year. I love juicing and hope to get into it more in 2017.
Have a great holiday season. Merry Christmas
Cheers
Nick
