First Affiliate Sales a Week After Creating My Website!

Hi guys,

I have been dabbling in affiliate marketing for about 3 years and honestly have made about $1,000 in that time. Very depressing. That income wont have me travelling around the world 6 months of the year which is my goal.

I joined WA because I saw a community of people who really want to have success, a great training program and wonderful support.

My First Website - Turmeric Heals

I built my first website, Turmeric Heals, on here just over a week ago. I am into health and fitness and turmeric is an amazing super food, in fact in my opinion it is THE superfood! Yesterday I wrote my first blog post on the site, Healing Prostate Cancer Naturally. It is about my journey, the foods I ate, the fasting and the results of not going down the conventional medical route.

After publishing it I sent the link to a few health based Facebook groups I am a member of and sent out a couple of Tweets also. I had some great feedback from Facebook and people really resonated with it.

I have a clickbank account that has earned me around $58 in the last 3 months. In the past fortnight I found a really good healthy product, Turmeric supplements, on there and used that link in my article. It is only in there twice as I didn't want to overdo it for my first posting.

Waking Up to Income Overnight!

Now my website isn't even indexed as yet but when I woke this morning and checked my clickbank account I had made over $100 in sales in one day! To say I was over the moon would be an understatement. I am still smiling with a huge grin! I have done similar marketing in the past and got lots of hops but no sales.

This stuff definitely works. Yes it helps if you have a good community of people who relate to your niche, in fact that is a must. You must find your market demographic.

The thing I want to really emphasise here is NEVER GIVE UP! After 3 years of plodding away and not getting anywhere I was nearly done...but I kept going, found WA and I really think I am now understanding how it works. Its not the be all and end all earning $100 but it has given me real inspiration and determination to in fact work harder, really optimise my site as much as I can. I now know I have a great product and a matching niche and customer.

I plan on doing a video and getting at least 10 inbound links for each post I write. It certainly helps having an inspiring story. What is your inspiring story? And don't tell me you don't have one. We all have one. Tap into your story because it's what people want to hear. It's all about the story. Your story builds trust and that trust builds a following. Use your story as a base around your websites. People need to trust you to buy from you.

I have an email list of almost 1500 and I plan on sending my article link to them today. It's all coming together. To think I am making sales without even using my email list makes it all the more encouraging!

You Got This Just Never Give Up

It may seem like it's happened very quickly since joining WA but it has taken those 3 years of trial and error to get here. And really I have a long, long way to go still.

But at least I know it works. I wont be travelling just yet but I really know my dream is not just a dream anymore, it's real. And I am going to work my butt off to get to the airport for my 6 months travelling.

And trust me, if I can do it, so can you. Hope this helps to inspire you just a little.

You may well be struggling and doubting yourself. Just know that this stuff works. Follow the training and ask for help. It will happen. And remember, NEVER EVER GIVE UP!
