I Love My Theme
I really really love the theme on my newest website. No, seriously I love it and I keep getting great feedback on the aesthetics of the whole thing. But...
I really would love it more if it worked.
It is simply proving to be unreliable. It simply doesn't always load the pages correctly and it tries to nest the articles inside of each other which makes a massive mess.
Don't you hate delays like this? I have been on a mission to write 100,000 words in ten days to really launch this blog quickly. Yet, the site barely works some times.
Yes, I could keep writing and I am but...
Part of my mind is obsessing about this. I went through almost 30 themes before I found this one and it is simply perfect.
Support? Well, the company barely exists apparently. This is a new company and they don't have their infrastructure set up. I am on my own and I am not a coder.
I guess it is back to the theme market to wade through hundreds of themes trying to find my next favorite...
Hope each of you are not stuck on some silly thing like this.

Kevin, which of the website? Do show the link to the website to see the theme you are talking about.
If it is not working, you will likely have to choose another theme. But you don't have to wade through lots of them to find what you need. There is a method of selecting special features that you like which narrows it down to a few which you can install and test it on your site. Here is the link : Choose a New Theme Best wishes

Focus on writing, and getting content out there (even on the most basic of themes) and worry about the whole theme thing later...
I myself am a bit of a perfectionist and I know what it's like to get caught up looking for the perfect theme but honestly it doesn't exist. I've set up websites with themes that I thought were dog ugly & have had visitors leaving compliments on how easily accessible they found the website to be... Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and as long as the content is there & is readable, you're all good :)
I agree completely but I can't find a theme that even looks acceptable. I did everything based on this theme and when I go to others the pictures get all distorted and such. I will leave it up for now as it only fails about 15% of the time. At this point I would use any theme that worked until I had the time to find one but I have been through about 35 and so far none even come close to presenting the articles in a way that works.
It is the fre version. I did find the company finally as the link in the theme didn't work and sent in a support ticket but the site says they don't support free versions lol. I am not going to pay for a theme with a free version that doesn't work.
I use Astra personally, its available on my blog attached to my profile and gives me no problems at all

I fully understand what you say about Themes! [roll eyes] I've been at my wits end with Themes, until I found the following:
• Astra (thanks for the recommendation DaveHayes) - a free theme that could do what I wanted.
• OceanWP (thanks for the recommendation BrianCh) - also free, but is even more customizable than Astra, and it is fully compatible with Elementor. (Brian also recommended YouTube tutorials by Ferdy Korpershoek regarding this.)
As a paid Theme, BrianCh recommended Themify Ultra, and after watching videos on YouTube by Hogan Chua, it looks good, but I decided to go with OceanWP.
I am SO grateful to the above 2 members for having helped me in my search for a Theme, as that was my biggest stumbling block. Searching for the "theme features", didn't help me unfortunately, since what I was looking for, wasn't on the features list. ;-|
