It's HARD to really FAIL at WA ($500+ on a bad month)
One of the most important fundamentals of building an affiliate site is focusing on a niche.
My first website did anything but that. It was all over the place as I focused on creating buyer guides for stuff that I tricked myself into believing are somehow related.
That works for a while, until the entire site tanked this Nov after the Google SEO Update.
But I'm glad that, I've picked up valuable lessons and started a second site early part of the year.
While the first site is sinking, as Google is increasingly favoring sites with authority,(And that means focused, brandable site), my 2nd site is getting more traffic and sales.
2019 has been a mixed of good and bad for me. But I'll be happy of hitting $500 for Nov.
But what's more important is to realize that you've messed up or strayed away from the lessons taught at WA.
Have courage to fail.
It only gets easier.
Cheers,
Kenny

Kenny, your story teaches an important lesson. If you are doing something that clearly doesn't work, don't continue to do that. Stop and do a reset like you have done.
Congrats on your earnings as I am certain this is the start of something big!
In wish you all the success in the world.

Interesting. I also have had zero luck with "best of" posts. Pretty cool that your 2nd site is only 1 year old and you made $500.
I do think with more competitive niches it's all about longevity. My site is just now 2 years old 230 posts and finally gaining traction in a very tough niche.
Thanks for sharing your progress, it's very encouraging.
