Every person on this planet that doesn't live under a rock knows about Youtube and at some time in their life has watched a Youtube. Even if you so happen to live under a rock, if you have a phone its likely that you know what Youtube is.

From news, to advertisements, to funny cats videos. Youtube is pretty much the source of most of the content that we consume today. Yes, there is instagram, facebook, tiktok, and pinterest. But no one gives more detailed information than Youtube.

When it comes to affiliate marketing, Youtube can really change the scope of your whole business. If you have a review site, you are literally missing out on thousands and possibly millions of dollars.

Any time that I buy anything from anywhere, I check with Youtube before I make the final decision. Whether it's to watch a review, a reaction video, or get a summary on the product.

I remember the last time I bought a car. I spent about 2 or 3 days watching youtube reviews on that specific car. If it were not for all of the content that I watched, it probably would have taken me an extra week to make that decision. But the videos made it ten times easier to narrow my options down.

As an affiliate marketer, our goal is to connect with as many people as possible. Whether that is through direct contact or indirectly with links and websites. One great and surefire way to get and stay connected with potential customer or even potential affiliate program is having a Youtube channel.

Every person is different. There are some people who won't take you or your business serious unless you have a Youtube channel.

There are some who make 99% of their buying decision based on reviews and rating posted on Youtube channels.

It is not a secret that the channel has a lot of opportunity and can really change how a business or company is viewed.

720,000 hours of video is uploaded to YouTube every day.

YouTube has more than 2.6 billion active users as of 2023.

These facts are just to prove to you that if you are not on or using Youtube, it is a great chance that you are falling behind.

Although there is a good amount of people who are very successful without using Youtube to promote or market, most entrepreneurs and business people have Youtube and are using it effectively.

As an affiliate marketer, it is a no-brainer that Youtube should be apart of your gameplan and strategy. Most people would rather watch a video than read a blog.

This should not undermine the written word and how powerful blogs and articles are. This is just a fact of the matter that Youtube is one of the gateways to success.
