Life Hack For High Performers
Being an entrepreneur or a business owner is hard work. I am sure that every entrepreneur and business owner would agree. There is a lot of responsibility and duty, although if you handle your business and take care of what you need to take care of, the results from your labor are very rewarding.
I have been working for myself for the majority of my adult life. Yes, I have had jobs and I have been employed for companies, so when I say I have always worked for myself that means I have never worked a steady 9-5 job.
For me, it has always been long ours and non-stop productivity. The whole day is spent fixing problems and putting out fires. It's a life that very few people actually enjoy and look forward to getting up every morning for.
One strategy that helps me get through my tough days while staying productive is having a morning routine. A morning routine sets the tone for my day and gets me going with a very strong momentum.
The first thing that I do every morning to get my routine started it make my bed and do 200 push-ups. The reason why I start my day with this is because it gets my body moving and puts me in a great mood. Doing 200 push-ups as soon as you wake up is not easy. Starting the day with a challenging and physical task gets you in that productive mood that you need to kickstart your day.
After the push-ups, I of course brush my teeth. The next thing I do is read. I read for about 30min to an hour depending on what else I have to do that morning. Reading puts my mind in a learning mood, and I begin my day with knowledge. Learning something new causes your brain to want to learn more new things.
The last and final thing that I do for my morning routine is I write down my goals and the things that I am grateful for. I truly believe that every successful person that has accomplished anything in life first had a goal. What goals do is they give you something to work towards. When you know where you are going, it is much easier to get there.
I hope that this blog pot has convinced you that having a morning routine is beneficials to your production. If you are a high performer. a morning routine will give you an advantage over your competitors as it will give you morning structure in our life to add to your high work ethic.

Love the routine Keith, I usually end my night (last thing before bed) with some push-ups and reading. Our routines are similar, but I finish my day with a difficult and learning activity, followed by education.
Perhaps I will try flipping this around and starting the morning with the push-ups and exercise!

Could not agree more. I do a 10 minute workout in the morning and write in my daily journal 3 things I am excited about doing. Getting into the right mindset every day is very important.
