I started in 2016. Now I have three niches. Relax and figure out what's best for you. You could start a niche every day and make money on all of them. Of course, don't do that because nobody has that kind of time. Watch resident trainer, Jay, every Friday. He shows in one of his trainings (how to build a website in 14 days, or something like that). Check it out. There are more, like how to pick a niche, build a website from scratch, SEO and monetize it, and I'll bet he's making money on it. It's the men's gardening website.

Choosing a niche that fits for you is key and can seem daunting! The good news is you can always change it. It helps if you're passionate about the niche, too, because you can identify with pain points and benefits. And be specific! Too many times people are too general and then they get little or no attention. You can always narrow it down.

Hey Keith, choosing your first niche is always difficult for beginners. And that's ok. It's just the first of many hurdles to get over, haha.
But don't stress too much. Try a niche, and if you decide in a few months it's not for you, then simply start over in another.
And you'll be pleasantly surprised how much quicker your second attempt will be.

Hellohello you have made a wise decision I am also in training and I have tried several different platforms and the people energy and atmosphere here you will not find any where else! Everyone is so kind and helpful and anything you buy is optional and honestly my money is tight right now so I totally understand whats going threw ur mind but its considerably cheap and your not going to be in your pockets for this training stay positive it will work for you. I am new also but I definitely have faith in the system and the people. NO WORRIES AND CONGRATS

If you're struggling to find your first niche, I always advise that you write a list of things you have an active interest in, from these which option offers a wide range of options for you to explore and finally is this a topic/subject area that you want to be involved in 5/10/15 years from now? As Kyle mentioned, you can always change your niche a little later down the line or start additional websites across various niches once you grow in confidence.
