Yes I had read that, and he was indeed a great man and what he have said is a natural-born fast. May you have a wonderful day full of blessings my dear friend.
*** it's all ok, Jeff --- many many others walking this earth have yet to arrive at that date and many have passed who likely didn't realize their why by the time of taking their exit ... so perhaps, they're all already back! ... :)
such a profound statement by Mark Twain --,thought it would be worthwhile sharing ... it's a deep quote ....
and of course, as we already know, thinking is hard work & that's why so few people do it! ... chuckles! ...

Funny thing about the "why" day is it's like the universe started singing "yes you got it". It gives me a thwack on the head if I drift but why would I want to do that? Though it has been known thanks to friendly curiosity. My "why" is the most beautiful thing and the sense of knowing so exceptionally powerful.
Love that MT quote, so right he was.
Steve
*** hi Steve --- sure glad you've enjoyed this post -- it's highly unlikely that you'd need a 'thwack on the head!' -- Gosh that would hammer out about a million brain cells and where would you be with that?! ...
wonderful to hear that you've got your 'why' and all the best to you for everything good .... cheerio ... ⭐️😊⭐️
