Diamond in the Rough, My Little Snippet

So you've been travelling down this path for a while now in search of the one thing called "Hope". That light at the end of the tunnel so to speak. Despite the few bumps on the way, the heavy winds, the rainfall and your step that somehow became heavier as the journey seems longer, you still stayed the course relentless to discard the belief that a dream could one day become more than just a mere dream, but reality!

"All that Glisters is NOT Gold"

Remember those few online programs? Correction! Remember those many online programs that you've given both a leg and an arm to at least see what would happen (whether from shattering a dream, to the accomplishment of that lifetime goal)? Well if so, I do too. But then again, that's how it all starts out (or at least 90% of the time), with that first glimmer followed by a second one. You then get encouraged to go and take a look, to further realize that not only was your gold not, but a piece metal from some can.

Lesson: Don't believe the hype! Do your necessary research!

"The Rough"

The rubble in this case is the multiplicity of SCAMS online. With the bombardment of so many different programs or opportunity in the online space, determining what programs are real from fake can become quite an arduous task (especially as some programs require a trial approach to determine their true nature). Thus, it can become quite easy for anyone to fall victim to the promises of these so called "Get Rich Quick" schemes/programs and opportunities that promise that dream life.

But even a dream can be preyed upon, right?! Transforming a blood pumping and exciting climax of a lovely tale into that steep drop off a cliff called a "Nightmare", we know to be online scams.

How to prevent these nightmares:

1. Read articles (eBooks, blogs) or reviews on topics such as, "Scams Online", "How to Avoid Scams" etc.

2. Through due diligence, do a bit of homework on that particular program, community or even opportunity of interest before entering therein.

Lesson: To be aware and know your surroundings! To be keen on detail!

"My Diamond"

Now bearing in mind that a diamond can have different forms, colours etc. I'd like to speak on the encounter I had with one particular diamond that was revealed to me in the form of an online community, by the name of Wealthy Affiliate and how it became my diamond.

I stumbled across Wealthy Affiliate one evening while surfing the web for another program (my serendipity)!

Wealthy Affiliate caught my eye in a review that I read on someone's web page about the experiences of being a Wealthy Affiliate member and how the journey and accomplishments along the way as a WA member compares to no other online.

With all the courage I was able to muster up, I signed up for Wealthy Affiliate shortly after I completed a couple reviews about it. From signing up to receiving my very own Starter Membership account. I have had no regrets.

After a few days of dating - my Starter Membership and I grew our relationship to the place where it is at now, which is Premium Membership. And that's where we'd like to keep things:)

How WA became my Diamond:

After trying different programs online for so long, it was concluded based on the following that WA was a rare jewel:

==> Possessed an amazing support system, whether from admin to the other members themselves that extended a helping hand to anyone in need...

==> Did not pledge or guarantee that its members will become millionaires overnight as other programs would...

==> Possessed an ambiance of authenticity, love, energy, feedback that could be felt...

==> Provided a feeling of a surety, especially when evaluating the financial scope of things (eg. membership fees, purchasing of additional tools or training)

Final Thought:

In my personal opinion, I have not yet seen or heard of another online community that seems as real or comes close enough to that of the Wealthy Affiliate community. With such a huge yet loving member base, WA is fully equipped with support, expertise and all the necessary tools to help anyone succeed online.
