California Currently has Stay at Home Orders

We got the official word last night we are on Stay at Home and only leave for essentials order.

This is something so strange to me and as a blogger for women over thirty who are housewives and mostly mothers. I thought I would start bringing some light to them by sharing our story as a journal. I am not sure how else I can support right now but just to be there for my audience even if it is only for a laugh or for them to feel like they aren't alone in the struggle.

Note of advice from my blog post today:

Do not cough when you are in public people freak out. I have a chronic cough due to a health condition and oh boy the looks I have received today at the two places I went. I promise I don’t have the corona I cough regularly even with all the meds I take for it. I have seen a few memes about coughing in line at the store and people letting you go ahead. I am not saying to do it but I thought it was funny in light of all of this.
