It does take time when you're new. I've built a few websites with Dreamweaver but Wordpress was totally new to me. It still is in some areas, I'm always asking questions!
It will get easier as you work through the lessons and as Donna says, if you're stuck ask for help. :)

i am sorta the same way.. very confusing but as I learn more it's not so bad, the training is really helping me and if i'm stuck i ask and normally someone in chat can post a link that solves my problem.. what stage of creating are you at? just starting or far in?
