I am perhaps a bit late joining 2019, felt confident of a good year ahead, however life had other idea's as per usual, I suffered a stroke which as had quite an impact on my vision and has made it a bit difficult reading and focusing, still early days and who knows what the eye doctor might come up with, I am blessed that it was not more serious and grateful for the good support I have around me.

So it is now just a matter of working out the best solution to get me back on track, one thing I do know is that it will not stop me pushing ahead with my business plans and personal goals.

I give a big thanks to Kyle for his SWAG program it helped me big time, however I cannot leave out Carson, Jay and the community here at WA, it is heart warming to received such dedicated people who sincerely help others on the path to success.

I still feel confident that this will be a good year there will be no doubt many changes ahead of us all and more improvements here at WA, they certainly have their finger on the pulse and I am always excited to see what the gang are bringing to the community, never a dull moment.

Wishing everyone a great year ahead

I just realised I hadn't seen you for a while so came here for a sticky beak. Well, you have had some downs. But now things can only go up.

Vision is something I really don't want to lose. So what do I have now - cataracts. One potentially good thing is once they are removed I might not need glasses anymore. Nah - not my luck.

Hope everything improves rapidly for you and you are once again up and running.

Cheers
Helen

Thank you Helen suffered another event as I call them, however seem to be making progress all be it slow, things wont be quite the same but am ok with that cause it is all manageable and I will get back into the work thing, just a bit impatient lol... hope everything will be ok with your eyes, take care thanks for stopping by.

Absolutely Katie, these guys at WA always bring exciting stuff to the table.

Sorry to hear about the stroke.I admire your courage and strength to push on.Its an inspiration.

Have a great 2019
Regards
Roops

Sorry about your health challenges, friend! Hope to see you recover as quickly as possible! Wishing you the best of luck in your lifetime!

Hey Katie,
Hope your recovery is speedy and quick.

Tried and True

Elaine

Thank you Elaine will no doubt learn more about patience and a few other aspects on the road to recovery

I hope your recovery is rapid and complete. Best of luck to you in your onward journey.

So sorry to hear about your stroke, Katie. You write very well in spite of it. I have a friend who has been blind from birth, and she uses the software that will read her the emails and dictates her responses. I wonder if something like that would make life easier for you while you are recovering. You're not alone with your stroke. Do you know Marmar? She is also in the process of recovering from a stroke and might have some pointers for you. Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for a quick and full recovery. Carol

Thank you Carol this is of help should I need it, the eye consultant has fixed me a pair of glasses with prisims and it is a great help, its early days , oh did not know Mamar was going through that, feel like I am making steady progress might be a bit unsteady but able to walk so that is a good sign..

You are certainly welcome, Katie. Having been an occupational therapist in my past life, I am always interested in how people's recovery is coming along.

Thank you Carol I am making slow steady progress so far, my eyes might take longer though as they remain the same, you can always pm me if you want any further info.. take care best wishes Katie

Thanks, Katie. Glad you're making progress, albeit slow. Every little change for the better is a milestone.

Thank you Carol every step forward makes progress

You're welcome. Absolutely!

Wishing you a fast & full recovery. Have faith !

KatieMac,
So sorry to hear of the recent events, but grateful that you are mending. Live has a way of showing up along.

You will be on the prayer list, and know that we are hoping for the best for you.

With technology, this may be your signal to learn to use the new apps that take spoken word and turn it to printed form. Have been curious about that medium for a while. I will be in line for tutorials.

The ability to work on your business as you are gaining your strength and keeping contact with W A will ensure you don't let your interests go away.

Best wishes,
Sami

Thank you for your kind words Sami for me it is always about finding another way to achieve what I need to do, my family and friends would not let me just linger lol there is too much I love about life to let go easy, hope you have a good weekend

Hello Katie.
I was wondering why I hadn't heard from you in a wee while.
Sorry to hear you had a stroke but as you say it wasn't too serious.
Are you still going to live in Scotland or going to your daughters down south?
Whatever or wherever you go you are still here at WA and lots to do to keep building our businesses.
Myself and a few others are going to start a program so if you're interested I can send you a PM.
No hurry as its early days and you don't want to rush things or get into anything new just yet.
Take it easy and have a great Friday and the weekend to come.
Robert

Gosh leave Scotland never lol have one daughter up near Carnoustie the other one down south is moving up nearer to her sister, am bit shaky but mobile this will not stop we just needed some time away from everything I am steadily recovering and hoping my eyes repair cleaver what they can do have got glasses that have prisms in it and it helps me see single vision etc, otherwise I am seeing double and distorted images that move around..I am blessed as it happened when I was driving I would have been beside myself if I caused an accident luckily I was near my daughters. The program you speak of sounds interesting would like to know more, I am pacing myself and setting out new schedule till I return to full power so to speak, have a great weekend

No probs Katie, and as I said, no rush.
Just you get your eyes seen to first or you wont be able to do much of anything.
Good you will have your daughters in Scotland.
I will PM you with a link to my web page so you can take a look at the videos.
Now I'm off home to make myself some eats.
Take care.
Robert

Thank you Robert, seen the eye doc now so he has come up with a special pair of glasses that makes things a bit easier a good compromise time will tell how well recovery goes, will wait for your link, enjoy the weekend even if its a bit drab weather wise

Thats good you have some vision.
Will send the link asap.
Take care.
Robert
