Can you see the value in Wealthy Affiliate
Every year I go to the Islay whisky festival with family and friends, at first I did not really take on the value of these trips, not only did we have fun but we made new friends from around the world and learned the principle of low cost investment which can improve our value and our income.
How so ?? you may ask and what has this to do with Wealthy affiliate, let me explain I am not a part way through my 4th year with WA, the first year was a struggle as I seemed to take forever to really grasp this new concept of affiliate marketing, building websites, social media, traffic and blog writing.
It has been a bit of a roller coaster at times and I had my moments were I wanted to get off, I have had successes along the way and well as my disasters.
Just bear with me for a bit, I want to compare these two very different aspects of building assets. The biggest asset we have is ourselves only we have the ability to set the scene for our life, so what are you doing to enrich yourself, this is our responsibility.
Islay is a small Scottish Island which is only 25 miles long, it has around 8 distilleries and there are around 3200 people who live there so to rely on the whisky trade and tourism and have become quite inventive when it comes to sustaining there community.
For that one week in the year certain bottles of whisky are produced and if you not on the Island you just cannot buy it anywhere, the guys will camp overnight to get a golden ticket to buy a very limited edition at around £300 or you can get other limited editions from £150 , now my nephew buys extra and then doubles or even triple his investment a few weeks later this covers the cost of the one's he will keep long term to increase there value, there is serious money to be made in whisky, it just never clicked with me how effective this would be.
Wealthy affiliate is much the same only the product is ourselves, for our investment we get quality training, tried and proven methods of ways to cover our costs and make extra income on top of it, thus increasing our own knowledge and finances.
Unless, can see the value in the money we invest then it will always be a struggle to justify spending the money. There are very little opportunities that offer low risk investment, even if you did not want to have an online business, learning all that is set out before us here can increase our market value in the work place.
Small businesses that do not have a big budget for marketing etc could use the training here at Wealthy Affiliate to not only enhance training for there employee's but improve there business opportunities
The more we immerse ourselves into learning and action the more our mindset will change, there are many opportunities around us but we need to be open to them, we have a community that is worldwide who share many things with us, do we appreciate the assistance ? I for one am really grateful, we have founders who are available to us and work hard to deliver the most up to date training and tools to empower us.
Be patient and consistent, do not see it as an overnight success and money will roll in like a ATM give it time a conventional business usually takes around a year to yield an income, do not give up too early, if you are on the all access for 7 days use the time wisely do the training then you will know if this is for you.
April has flown past and I have had two weeks with all my grand children so I did not get all my SWAG tasks done, we had some great adventures from spooky castles, troll hunting and seeking out treasure and even though they are young I share my Wealthy Affiliate adventure with them to, my grandson who will be 12yrs in August thinks it is cool and I am able to do and share certain aspects that helps him with school work.
We are now heading into month 3 of the SWAG adventure and I am super excited as it is about social media and getting it done right, I need new directions in this area not just for me but for my daughter who is on her own new adventure as an author, had I not been part of this great platform I could not have helped her and we have new horizons to share.
Whether you just want to have a hobby, interest, improve your skills or have a serious business this is the place to be.
I do not know about you but I enjoy liviing my life what is the point of just existing without enjoying life, have fun with the Wealthy Affiliate adventure, see the value in what you are doing.

lol Steve I do not even drink but seeing the marketing and savvy investors at work has been a learning curve and the Islay road trip has a global following for sure, I was surprised at just how many, it is good for the island economy though
Hi Katie! I've been here for many years and love the learning process and the fact that everyone here is so helpful. When I first came here, I thought I'd never be able to repay all the help I received. Now I can and I look forward to paying it forward! Alanna
Kyle and Carson built this wonderful platform in the spirit of paying it forward, thank you for taking the time to read my post.
