What is your opinion/ experience with incorporating network marketing or direct sales into niche sites?

There is a direct sales company that fits my niche really well, a

Another great lesson I learned after almost 3 years here... The WA affiliate program is much better than any Direct sales business I know of. Unless you are going to be very proficient with that Direct Sales business on the ground aka person to person as well.

The WA affiliate program is great because you are building residual income. PLUS you are getting sales from the immediate action. If you build a niche website that is getting first page rankings. Then you can surely know how to attract people to the WA affiliate program.

It is a numbers game. When you join a Direct Sales company. Their brand no matter how great. Will possibly... limit the amount of people who will be in the pool to buy your product.

The pool of people looking for WA training and services tied to affiliate marketing IS HUGE!!!

Took me a long time to realize that. Watching other fellow WA producers making Thousand of dollars a month selling through Amazon or WA.

Thank you for the insight and advice. I appreciate you taking the time to respond.
For now I am focusing on content and getting ranked, but am also thinking ahead :) It helps me to not feel lost when trying to create content to have an idea of what direction I'm headed in.
I have a lot more work ahead before I get traffic I'm sure.

My ultimate advice. Ask people in the business you are thinking of joining if they are internet marketing friendly. Could you tell me the rules of what I can or can not do. IF you want to use that company as a focal point.

I have moved away from a lot of Direct Sales businesses for my marketing and PPC. Too much of a headache. But it is possible. Very possible. I am rebooting my online business and I plan to go back to pushing my Direct Sales holdings more intensely.

But for now the simpler thing is to do Affiliate links where they are friendly to internet marketiers.

My advice... Build your Online presence in your niche. Once you are getting great traffic. Then monetize with your Direct Sales business. Once you have gotten a great rankings and a good feel for the Direct Sales business you are in and how to market it online.

That way you will have a great funnel waiting for it. Until you are getting those first page rankings it won 't matter much anyway.

For instance. Lets say niche is... Football helmets. And you find a Direct Sales business that sales Football helmets. If your site post are ranked 65 in Google. You are not going to make any sales .

So build your website up first to where you have post getting those 1st and 2nd page rankings. So no matter what you monetize with your sales funnel is ready with relevant visitors! Have fun

Hi Katie! I think it is a great idea. BUT. It can be a great pain if you are dealing with the wrong company. Some MLM or Direct sales companies love for you to sell their products online. They have very very very little if any rules on doing so. I love those companies!!!!

But... there are some that are very very legal in their attempt to keep their direct sellers from selling online. I have had some run ins with them even when I tried my best to follow their guidelines. It can be a great pain.

I am involved in many direct sales companies. If you like to message me for more details or with any questions you can. We may be able to help each other as well if we are in the same niche :) . I am always looking for an opportunity to join forces with other marketers.

I have not done it but it sounds like a great idea to me!

If it's a good fit then why not?
