For the past few months I have been looking into various ways to capitalize on the Internet. I truly believe there are opportunities to provide good, solid products or services online. In fact, there seems to be so many opportunities that it is hard to figure out just where and how to begin.
If you “Google” something like “internet marketing”, or “make money online”, you will find that there is no shortage of “experts” willing to help you. They will offer you free eBooks, newsletters, and limited memberships. In fact, they seem to be more than happy to flood you with information.
But at the end of the day, they are just pushing their own products. As you read some of the initial information on internet marketing, you will come across the phrase “niche”. These marketers are simply selling to the niche which you are a part of.
This fact gives us a golden opportunity to observe the process in action so sign up for a few free offers. Take note of how these masters craft their emails, send you upgrade offers and, flood you with advice. I am not saying that all of these offers are bad. What I am cautioning you on is to be careful to not get sucked into spending money too quickly. Just observe the process in action as it can be a terrific learning experience.

Very well said. Buying online is going to be the norm soon, and being a part of it is really an opportunity, BUT, we must all watch out for shiny objects that make others rich without any delivery to the buyer. :) Here is to 2013, a true year of change!
Hi Shawn. I am completely new to WA but if I understand the information correctly, by upgrading to Premium there will be no necessity to purchase any thing outside of the programme. Could be wrong of course, certainly wouldn't be the first time !
Naturally curious person that I am, I am especially prone to information overload. I have quite a few of the free ebooks and get a reasonably tolerable level email bombardments. But it can get confusing, and it's easy to get bogged down.
I know exactly what you mean. With so much to learn and so many different ways to earn money in Internet marketing, it's hard to know where to focus first. The best advice I have heard is to pick a strategy and stick to it. I am trying really hard to take that advice.
You are giving some very good advice here. A lot of these folks can be observed and learned from but I could not bring myself to employ their tactics. This is the place to learn how it should be done-Honest and above board.:)
I completely agree with you. WA does truly seem to be a place where you can learn things that are the right way. I believe there are honest opportunities where you can provide good info and earn a living doing something you can be proud of.
When I first came across some of the more shady characters and their advice - my first thought was "if that is all that Internet marketing is, I don't think I want to b a part of it".
