The Benefits of Walking Meditation
Hi Everyone,
Today I'd like to share with you my reflections on WALKING MEDITATION.
I've come across this term recently and realised that I had actually been practising WALKING MEDITATION, unaware of it being the thing :)
Alright, so what is WALKING MEDITATION then? It is simply a kind of meditation you practise while walking, as the name suggests.
And it is brilliant! Especially for those who find a 'sitting' meditation a bit boring due to lack of movement. I have to admit that personally a 'sitting' meditation makes me fall asleep, whilst WALKING version is more appealing as movement prevents me from nodding off :) So it does the trick for me perfectly well ! :)
The benefits:
* It relaxes your body and mind
* It boosts your creativity
* Movement = physical exercise
* You get fresh air = good for your body and mind
* Exposure to nature is good for your eyes
* You feel revived and ready for action :)
