Whew!! I Think I've Had It
I've been following along with the lessons. I've been researching interesting content for my blog AND I really got stuck on selecting a theme for the site. I'm prepared to purchase one, but not until I see what features are most important to me.
I tried Omega and Ignite and lots of others. I didn't want to and don't know how to fuss with that CSS stuff so I wanted it to be pretty right out of the box. Pretty was important. I'm not well versed in this stuff but I wanted a bit of a Wow when I looked at my site. I didn't want the header image to fill up the entire page so my content only showed with scrolling.
I believe I'm finally done with my search. The image I have posted may not be the right one but for now it's a placeholder.
So far the content is practice content. Layout of menus/content I'm still confused about how I should do this.

I'm from New York City and thick skinned so I can take criticism if you've got something negative but constructive to say.

Hi there just looked at you site well done for getting started it is a big learning curve building your first site
To give you some helpful tips, when someone lands on a website they always ask the same questions and they are these
1. What is it
2. What is it about
3. What do I get
On your front page, try to be clear about the above questions, so there is no confusion as to what you are offering, I was a bit confused by the MS in the title and wondered what that meant
It called money by design - what does that mean and how do I do it, try to get this stuff on the first page as well as the benefits to the reader if they engage in you site
Pull them in by asking them questions that they most likely are asking about finance then tell them that you have the solutions

Barry, thanks. Be I should have a static front page that jumps right in and explains the Ms. MsMoneyByDesign.com is a site for women interested in understanding how to deal with their money. Their attitudes about money, ways to earn money, save it, invest it and how to spend it wisely. I could do that on a static front page. Maybe not on a blog.
