My Social Media struggle - Part One
Okay - so I got facebook sorted. Added a page within my personal facebook. And when I set up my second website, I simply add another page to manage. That's easy. Just about to add some content.....
But I am totally lost with Google+ and Pinterest. Am struggling through these lessons (not a social media savvy kinda girl).
I have set up a personal account on both but I just need to figure out how that works if you have more than one website/business. Should I set them up as separate entities as a business?
Note to self (and other social media phobics): Start looking at other pages in your circle for ideas.
It took a while to figure out the circles but I am getting there. I set up a new circle called Wealthy Affiliates and am putting you all in there coz I'm not to sure what to do with you all! Should I be keeping WA's separate from my personal friends etc. (not that I have many on there coz its all new to me)
Tried adding something from my website but it doesn't seem to let me.
Pinterest looks promising. Just need to figure out how the pins work and what about mixing them all up? For example my personal interest pins and my hiking website pins and my WA pin (eventually) and my next project soy candle pins.
Will need to figure this out but for now I need a break from Social Media. Wanting to move on and will come back and do these lessons again soon! I am totally confident that it will all fall into place.
Going by other peoples feedback, I'm going to give Twitter a miss for now. Dealing with Google+ and Pinterest is enough for now.
So stay tuned for Part 2 when I come back refreshed and do these lessons again once I have had a break from having so many late 1am finishes!

Yes, you can put the pins into different boards in Pinterest. The boards are like categories.
Put WA folks in one G+ circle until you get near 500. Then create WA2 circle etc. Circles are limited to 500 and there is a follower limit too. They can follow you but you don't need to follow them to get around this.
There is a book called What the Plus that will teach you all you need to know about Google +. It can be found free in pdf form if you look.
Thanks Craig. I shall look up that book!
Can I ask you another question?
So if I have 2 websites, completely different to each other as I now have, I will have 2 different facebook pages within my own personal one - that's fine.
But both Google + and Pinterest I use the same personal account?
Pinterest - but have separate noticeboards on each topic?
And if I starting adding stuff to google+ from both websites won't it get all mixed up? How does that look to people trying to view it?
Thanks for any tips.
You will create a page in Google+ for each site. One personal account will have multiple pages attached to it. Then you can segment your audiences.
Circles are a good way to segment the audiences inside your personal account. Share to the circle you have for relevant audiences.
You will get a separate YouTube account for each page you create as well so this is a nice bonus.
