Procrastination
Hi everyone, hope you enjoyed your Sunday. It's a little chilly here but still my favourite day of the week.
The doctor said something to me the other day that kind of reminded me how fragile life really is. We always take for granted the notion that tomorrow really is no guarantee and that is so sad because life is something that is incredibly fragile.
Have you ever lost someone you loved only to realise that there was so much that was left unsaid, and it's now too late to turn the clock because death showed up like the thief that he is. Well death is not the only thief let me tell you, procrastination is also the culprit. We always take for granted the people in our lives because we stupidly think they'll always be around until we wake up one day to find them gone and we're left with nothing but regrets.
So today why don't we start doing things differently?
Man, you've got that woman that loves you so much at home and you know that too, that's why you're taking her for granted and forgetting that she too has got needs. When last did you take her on a date? When last did you tell her you love her? When last did you give her something that she's always wanted? Something that's got nothing to do with the house or the children, something that makes her realize you acknowledge her as a person. That she's more than a wife, more than a mother. Spoil her, love her, respect her, she might not always be around and we can't have you having regrets......should have, could have, would have, no we don't want that.
Woman, good men are hard to find okay, so stop screaming and shouting at that man, find a healthy way to remind him to fix that pipe or to fetch the children from school. Show him some love, some respect, let him know he's your king always, stroke his ego, you know they love that. Don't wait until he's gone to reminisce about all the good he did, tell it to him straight, otherwise who said tomorrow is a guarantee?
Children, please stop taking for granted and disrespecting your parents, there are many orphans out there, many who still wish they had that mother to nag them or that father to tell them who to see and who not to see. Treat them with respect, show them how much you value their opinions, tell them their feelings matter, otherwise who promised you tomorrow?
Life is short, unpredictable, future is nothing but a wish and a dream, death is the one thing certain about life. So stop saying I'll be better tomorrow or do better tomorrow, consider yourself so lucky and divinely blessed just to be here today. So do all those things you've always wanted to do. See all those places you've always wanted to see. Tell that special person how much they mean to you, before you wake up and realise that the only place you can get close to them is through a dream.

Hello Malenyaio, I have lost a few loved ones that I wish I had one more day to say a few things that I never got to say. I like this blog because it reminded me that we should not wait until our loved ones are in the grave to tell them that we love them. Tell them everyday.
Good evening Malenyalo,
You have written a really touching post. So often we forget that life can be short and unpredictable and then we might regret not to have said that friendly or loving word which was needed.
I have not seen you for a long time, are you doing ok? I hope to see you more often and hear how life is treating you.
Wishing you all the best, Taetske
Thank u so much Taetske, it's just that life has been very demanding lately where I find that my responsibilities are multiplying by the day & making it very difficult for me to focus on WA. But I'm back now and I'm trying very hard to catch up. Thank you so much for your kind words, I'm doing very well thanks and it's so nice to know that I've been missed.
Sometimes our real life gets in the way but I think that will happen to everybody sooner or later.
Good that you found your way back to WA, I wish you lots of success.
All the best, Taetske
Every second lost is lost there is no coming back. A man in the street and a billionaire have the same amount of time throughout the whole day. It is how well you manage your time. you see people usually take action without goals. Running 10 km is an action but the real goal here is to be at my physical peak.
Be blessed, Malenyalo. You're so right, Malenyalo. We have to live now and to live is to love by faith working through love.
